OnePlus Nord 2T bags multiple certifications, key details revealed

OnePlus will add a new smartphone to the Nord series. The upcoming OnePlus Nord 2T is expected to debut next month. However, there are no official words from the company yet. In the meantime, the smartphone has bagged multiple certifications. The listings reveal some key details that follow below.

The OnePlus Nord 2T has made an appearance on the TDRA certification website. In addition, we know the camera specifications of the device, thanks to the Camera FV5 website. The TRDA listing confirms the model number and the moniker of the device.

The OnePlus Nord 2T bears the model number CPH2399. At the front, the device will feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a hole-punch cutout at the top left corner. The panel will offer a 90Hz refresh rate. A 4,500 mAh battery keeps the system working with an 80W fast charging support.

For software, it will boost Android 12 out of the box along with Oxygen OS 12 on top. Under the hood, the leaks suggest that the OnePlus Nord 2T will draw power from a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC.

In the shooting department, the OnePlus Nord 2T is tipped to carry a 50 MP primary camera. Accompanying this will be an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP monochrome sensor. On the other side, a 32 MP snapper will serve selfies and video chats.

The OnePlus 8 series, including the T-Mobile variant— OnePlus 8OnePlus 8 Pro, and OnePlus 8T is getting another update based on OxygenOS 12.

The latest software update for the OnePlus 8 series is bundled with version number ColorOS 12 C.15 which is currently rolling out in India. For the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro, the build is rolling out with the firmware version IN2011_11.C.15 and IN2021_11.C.15​ respectively. Whereas, the OnePlus 8T is upgrading with build number KB2001_11.C.15.

Concerning changes, the package addresses a few issues related to the occasional issue where the user was unable to use face unlock. Moreover, OnePlus claims that after flashing this build, the abnormal notification issue of "Camera is running" is taken care of. Oppo K10 Pro hits Geekbench, hinting at an imminent launch

Oppo is preparing to add another device under the K10 lineup. Where the Oppo K10 smartphone is already official, the Pro model is in the works. As per the Geekbench portal, the Oppo K10 Pro bears the model number PGIM10. The smartphone has managed to score 734 points in the single-core round and 3119 in the multi-core round. Apart from this, the website divulges details about the operating system, processor, and more.

Under the hood, a chipset with the codename “lahaina” will power the Oppo K10 Pro. FYI, this is Snapdragon 888 processor integrated with Adreno 660 GPU. According to the OnePlus update policy, the Nord series is eligible to receive only two major Android updates. However, the company never disappoints to deliver frequent updates to the lineup. The information was revealed by the OnePlus community forum, according to which the new package is rolling out in Indian markets. The Nord 2 5G variants in the country are upgrading with the DN2101_11_A.20 firmware version. In addition, the post mentions that the same package will roll out to the global and European users soon as well.

As far as changes are concerned, the build does not pack any significant changes or new additions. However, minor updates are also essential to ensure a polished and smooth user experience. This time, the package resolves the occasional issue of the abnormal screen display when using Facebook video calls. Moreover, the Android security patch level is bumped to April 2022.

Redmi 10A and Redmi 10 Power launched in India: Specifications and Price

Xiaomi introduced two new smartphones in the Indian market today. The Redmi 10A and Redmi 10 Power are the latest entry-level devices. FYI, the former handset was launched in China last month. Anyway, here is a detailed look at the new pair.
