OnePlus Nord 5G bags stable OxygenOS 12 update based on Android 12

While Android 13 is cooking up, the eligible smartphones are upgrading with Android 12. In the latest development, OnePlus has started to update its mid-range offerings. The standard OnePlus Nord 5G is getting OxygenOS 12 update based on Android 12.

The latest software update for the OnePlus Nord is available for users in India with firmware version AC2001_11.F.11. Whereas, the European version is still being validated. In addition, OnePlus has announced the OxygenOS 12 update for the users running Beta 2. For other users, "a complete changelog is visible as you receive the update."

  5. The abnormal display of the Quick device connects when in the Guest mode.


As usual, the package is having an incremental rollout. It will reach a small percentage of users today, while a broader rollout will begin in a few days. Before flashing the update, make sure that your phone's battery is above 30% and that at least 3GB of storage space is available.

[Update: April 2022 Security Patch] OnePlus Nord N20 Updates Tracker

OnePlus Nord N20 was officially released in April 2022 featuring a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. Under the hood, it equips an Octa-core processor-based Snapdragon 695 chipset. The OnePlus Ace Racing Edition has managed to score 868 points in the single-core round and 3505 points in the multi-core round of the Geekbench test. The portal reveals some key details about the device, including the processor, operating system, and more.

Starting with, the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition bears the model number PGZ110. Under the hood, the Geekbench listing confirms that the phone will draw power from an octa-core MediaTek processor. The chipset works with a 4 + 4 configuration and 2.85GHz peak frequency. Considering this, a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor will fuel the upcoming OnePlus device.

Furthermore, this chipset will be integrated with Mali G610 MC6 GPU and a 12GB RAM model. Although we expect it to arrive in multiple storage option options. On the software front, the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition will come pre-installed with Android 12 OS.

Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro teased at Google I/O 2022 with Android 13

The Google I/O 202 keynote event marked some surprising announcements last night. The tech giant mentioned some improvements arriving for the Google stock apps. In addition, the conference introduced some Pixel devices, including Pixel 6a, Pixel Watch, and Pixel Buds Pro. Well, now that the Pixel 6 lineup is officially complete, the successor series was also teased at the developer's program.

The Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will serve as the latest addition to the Pixel line of smartphones. As noted in the conference, the series will launch later this year in the fall along with the Pixel Watch.

Google teased the rear design of the upcoming Pixel 7 series. The pictures render the same 'visor' design from the Pixel 6 lineup. In addition, the camera bar stripe runs through the frame from both sides. It is now made from polished aluminum and a glass back for a more premium look.





For optics, the Pixel 7 seems will carry a dual-camera setup, while the stripe on the Pro model houses triple lenses.
