Realme is spinning out a massive software update for the GT Master Explorer Edition. The smartphone was launched last year with Android 11 and was upgraded to Android 12 OS a couple of months ago.

The Moto G71s 5G is built around a 6.6-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a punch-hole cutout at the top center. The panel offers a 120Hz refresh rate, 100% NTSC color gamut, and 50,00,000:1 contrast ratio.

A few months back, Poco unveiled the Poco F4 GT in the global markets. It seems like the company is preparing to introduce a new X-series smartphone with the GT moniker– the Poco X4 GT. The upcoming Poco F4 GT will succeed the Poco X3 GT that was launched last year. To recall, the Poco X4 Pro 5G was launched a couple of months back. However, the vanilla Poco X4 isn't announced yet. This will make the GT variant the company’s second handset under the Poco X4 lineup.

Xiaomi 12S Pro revealed in render leaks, tipped to run Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ SoC

The Xiaomi 12 series was launched globally this year in March. The lineup includes three smartphones: Xiaomi 12Xiaomi 12 Pro, and Xiaomi 12X. It seems like the company is working to add a new device to the family. Reportedly, the Xiaomi 12S Pro has managed to leak online, revealing some of its key specifications. The Xiaomi 12S Pro is anticipated to arrive in the second half of the year with some incremental upgrades over the earlier phones. According to the leaks, the smartphone will feature a 2K LTPO 2.0 micro curve display with a 120Hz refresh rate, which is similar to Xiaomi 12 Pro.

Further, the rumors claim that the Xiaomi 12S Pro will draw power from an upgraded Snapdragon flagship chipset under the hood. This could be the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus chipset which is set to debut on May 20 in China.

OxygenOS 12 Closed Beta program is live for the OnePlus Nord CE 2

OnePlus releases any build in three different channels— Closed Beta, Open Beta, and Stable. In the latest news, the company has announced OxygenOS 12 Closed Beta testing program for the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G users in India. The smartphone was released back in 2021 with Android 11 out of the box.

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 users in India can taste the richness of Android 12 and OxygenOS 12 before the stable release. Although the company will only recruit 200 closed beta testers for the program. The selected users will receive a private installation package to preview the latest build.

Moreover, the selected users will have to sign a non-disclosure agreement with the company. In addition, these 200 users are expected to stay in touch regularly via Telegram to report bugs/issues and provide suggestions to the software team. Also, they need to be an active member of the OnePlus Community.

Android Auto 7.7 arrives as a tricky update with bug fixes and new issues

While the major “Coolwalk” build is still awaited, Google is releasing minor updates to make the Android Auto experience more seamless. The latest build labeled Android Auto 7.7 is quite a tricky update. The version resolves some issues for the Galaxy S22 owners. However, it introduced some new bugs for other users.

Android Auto 7.7 resolves the problem where the Galaxy S22 owners were not able to connect their phone to their car's head unit. As gathered from the Google support threads, the issue occurred only while using the Galaxy S22. The other phones were connected without any disturbance to the same car with the same cable.

Moreover, the user complained that when connected via a USB cable, the Galaxy S22 will simply charge. It did not provide any features required on a car's infotainment system. In other cases, a change of cables was enough to operate the Android Auto connection without issue. However, for some users, the cable switch did not work.

Finally, the issue is no longer prevailing, thanks to the Android Auto version 7.7. The Galaxy S22 users can easily connect their devices to the car without any hardship.

Unfortunately, the latest build is not a cure-all for all Android Auto users. The new reports indicate a new common issue, which is that the Android Auto will connect but simply show a black screen. Well, hopefully, this issue will be addressed soon as well.
