Now that the premium offerings are already updated, OnePlus has started to update its mid-range offerings. In the latest development, the standard OnePlus Nord 5G is getting OxygenOS 12 update based on Android 12.

The latest software update for the Nord 5G is rolling out in India bundled with the firmware version AC2001_11_F.12. The Build packs a ton of rich features and improvements. In addition, it improves privacy by integrating the May 2022 security patch.

Realme UI 3.0 Open Beta is available for Narzo 20 Pro and Narzo 30

The availability of the  Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 beta program is currently limited to India, while it will soon be available for more regions as well. If you are an interested Narzo 20 Pro or Narzo 30 smartphone user, follow the below steps to register yourself:

How to register for Realme UI 3.0 beta program?

1. Head to phone Settings > Software update


2. Look for the gear icon in the upper right corner of the screen


3. Click upgrade and early adopters and fill in the required information


4. Scroll down and click on the trial version by confirming the agreement


5. Lastly, Submit your details and tap on Apply Now button

OnePlus pushes out OxygenOS 12 C.20 for OnePlus 9R!

OnePlus 9R was the trimmed version of the flagship OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. It came with Android 11 out of the box. It later upgraded the smartphone to OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12. OnePlus has started pushing a new update to the OnePlus 9R smartphone. The brand said that this is an incremental update, and the rollout will be through Over the Air (OTA). As of writing this article, the OxgenOS 12 C.20 update is only live for Indian users. The rollout in other markets is expected to begin in the following weeks. OnePlus announced the details of the update through a post in its community.

The update for the OnePlus 9R for the Indian units comes with the firmware version number LE2101_11.C.20​. OnePlus bumps up the security patch to May 2022. The May patch brings improvements in many security concerns. Apart from the patch update, it also brings improvement in system stability. There are no other changes with the update, and it is a minor one. The incremental update will take some time to reach every unit of the OnePlus 9R. Make sure to check for updates regularly not to miss the update notification. Head to Settings, System, and open the System Updates menu to check for updates. One can also install the update manually by using the OxygenOS updater app.

OnePlus Nord gets OxygenOS 12 F.12 update; gets a ton of fixes and new features!

OnePlus launched its sub-brand "Nord" in the year 2020. It made its entry into the market with the OnePlus Nord smartphone. OnePlus Nord was the first smartphone from the brand to feature a mid-range chipset. All other phones from OnePlus used to feature Snapdragon 8XX series chipsets. OnePlus rolled out the OxygenOS 12 update to the OnePlus Nord 2 smartphone a month ago. It was the second major and last major update to the smartphone. However, the update contained some issues, and users have reported the same to OnePlus. So, OnePlus has pushed an Over the Air (OTA) update to address those issues. The new OxygenOS 12 F.12 update comes with the firmware version number AC2001_11.F.12​. As per the Community post, the update is live in India.
