Asus ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro launched: Specifications & Price

Asus has expanded its gaming flagship with the introduction of the ROG Phone 6 series. The lineup includes two models: ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro. The company has equipped smartphones with top gaming hardware and several new accessories to provide an enhanced gaming experience. Let's take a closer look at the new pair of devices.

The smartphone features a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display along with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for protection. The panel offers a 165Hz refresh rate, a 720Hz touch sampling rate, 1200 nits of peak brightness, and a touch latency of 23 milliseconds.

Underneath, the handset powers the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. On the software front, it runs Android 12 out of the box. A massive 6000 mAh battery keeps the system working with 65W fast charging support.

For optics, the ROG Phone 6 houses a 12MP sensor on the front for selfies and video calls. At the back, there's a triple-camera module consisting of a 50MP main lens, a 13MP ultrawide snapper, and a 5MP macro sensor.

To assist the gaming requirements, the phone features the new GameCool 6, AeroActive Cooler 6 fan, updated Air Triggers on the left edge, and a cooling mechanism inside. The ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro is available in black and white color options. The vanilla model costs €999 for its base 12GB/ 256GB storage model. While the upper 16GB/ 512GB is priced at €1149. On the other hand, the Pro model is worth €1299 for its sole 18GB/ 512GB variant.

The ROG Phone 6 series will soon go on sale in India as well. However, the exact date is not yet announced. The ROG Phone 6 will cost ₹71,999 in the country for the 12GB/ 256GB memory option. While the ROG Phone 6 Pro is worth ₹89,999 and is available in 18GB/ 512GB variant.

The announcement was made via the official Realme community forum. The interested Realme C35 users can enroll themselves and experience the next-gen customized skin before its official release. The registration channel is open from July 5, 2022. As this is an early access beta program, it will be available to a limited number of users initially. Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Pro with 1.64-inch display launched in China for ¥399

Along with the launch of the Xiaomi 12S series, the company also unveiled the Mi Band 7 Pro in China today. This is the third smart wearable from the Band 7 series after the Mi Smart Band 7 and Mi Smart Band 7 NFC that was launched back in May 2022. Needless to say, the Pro model is a premium version of the vanilla Band 7. Let's take a look at the new fitness device.

The Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Pro features a rectangular metal texture frame. At the front, it carries a massive AMOLED screen measuring 1.64-inches which is 5ATM rated for splash resistance. The panel offers a screen resolution of 280 x 456 pixels, a 326ppi pixel density, a 70% screen-to-body ratio, Always-on Display support, and a 2.5D glass on top for protection.

In addition to this, the new Mi Band 7 Pro is the first device in the series to arrive with a built-in GPS. Xiaomi 12S Ultra sports a 6.73-inch Samsung E5 AMOLED 12-bit curved display with a 2K resolution. The screen offers an LTPO 2.0 panel with up to 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, a peak brightness of up to 1,500 nits, and native 10-bit color depth.

Under the helm, it runs the same Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Although it arrives with an additional 512GB storage variant. Inside, there's a 4860 mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. Moreover, the smartphone comes with Surge P1 and G1 chipsets to ensure better battery management and improve efficiency.

Xiaomi 12S Ultra

Furthermore, the Xiaomi 12S Ultra claims to have one of the most advanced camera setups in the smartphone market. It also arrives with a Leica-tuned triple-camera setup consisting of a 50.3MP primary sensor, a 48MP ultrawide unit, and a 48MP periscope snapper with up to 120x hybrid zoom. On top, there is also a 23K gold rim on the camera module.
