MasterCard Launches ATM Hunter For Android Smart Phones, Available Now In The Market For Download

Today MasterCard announced that they will be bringing their popular application, ATM Hunter, which can be seen on iPhones and Blackberry devices all over the world, to the ever expanding Android OS.  Cheryl Guerin, Senior Vice President has stated:

“With the success of this application on both the iPhone and Blackberry, it is a natural progression to bring it to the active Android user base as well. Now, Android smart phone users can save time by using the MasterCard ATM Hunter in real-time to find an ATM nearby.”

The app will assist you in finding an ATM from anywhere in the world, utilizing Android’s location based technology.  So, no need to enter your address.  In addition, once you find an ATM, the application will also give you pertinent information such as whether or not there is a drive through, 24-hr service, wheelchair accessibility, surcharge fees and deposit sharing.  The app even lets you share an ATM location with a friend.  Time will definitely show this app to be extremely useful, I think, especially when you’re traveling abroad, visiting new and unfamiliar places.  Head on over to our apps database or check it out on the market for more info and to download it, the app is free.  And don’t forget to let us know what you think about it in the comments below.
