Samsung has released information on the upcoming Samsung Gem, a device that will be running Android 2.1

Here’s the specs on this bar-style Android device:

3.2-inch touch display with WQVGA resolution
850/1900MHz CDMA connectivity
GPS
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity
800MHz processor, a
3.2 megapixel camera
Support for microSD cards up to 16GB.
Swype pre-installed
Samsung’s Social Hub social networking interface

There’s no confirmation as to when this device will be released or how much it’ll cost, but one thing’s for sure: this device will be headed to a CDMA carrier.
