Samsung may launch Galaxy Tab in 8.9 inch model next month

Samsung introduced us all to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1inch running Android 3.0 at MWC this year, and although we haven’t heard as much about it since then as other tablets, like the Xoom or LG G-Slate, we’re hearing about another Galaxy Tab that may be available as soon as next month. It’s a Galaxy Tab, but it’s 8.9 inches in size, right in between the 10.1 and the 7 inch models.
A source at Yonhap News Agency is reporting that they have information suggesting not only that it may be in production, but that it may be available next month. If this comes true, then those other tablets may have more to worry about then simply competing with the Apple iPad2 when it comes out, but rather the small army of tablets Samsung is producing.
We hope to hear more about this very soon, and we’ll be sure to let you know what we find.
