Huawei Matepad 11 is receiving HarmonyOS 2.0.0.188 update

Huawei announced the Matepad 11 a couple of months back incorporated with the new HarmonyOS operating system. But it seems like users tend to face some issues. But the company is addressing them with this latest update that brings HarmonyOS 2.0.0.188 along with various improvements and fixes.

The fresh package for the Huawei Matepad 11 bumps the original OS that weighs 696MB in size. Apart from resolving the reported bugs, the build will upgrade the security patch to August 2021.

Talking about changes, the new version refines some features for a seamless user experience. It optimizes the system stability and improves the writing experience with the Stylus pen. Moreover, it enhances the audio playback effect in some scenarios. Alongside, the interface display effect of some third-party applications is now refreshed. If you are a Huawei Matepad 11 owner, you will receive the build soon as it is having a phase-wise rollout. Also, you can track it via the Settings > System & updates -> Software update -> Check for updates, click on Download and install if the patch is available for your handset.

Alternatively, you can flash the build from the Support app. To do this, open the Support app > service tab > update > check for updates > download and install.
