It's not been even a month and the Galaxy Watch 4 series by Samsung are performing beyond expectations. This is the first time the company has dumped its Tizen OS with WearOS. The brand has already sent a couple of updates within the first week of lunch. Yet another update is rolling out for the Galaxy Watch 4 that enhances the usability of the Touch Bezel.

The latest update for the Galaxy Watch 4 series arrives on the R8**XXU1BUI5 firmware version weighing around 290 MB in size. The build is available for both Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic. It overall emphasizes improving the system's stability and reliability to enhance the user experience.

Primarily, the new software improves the usability of the Touch Bezel function. Some users seem to have reported issues while scrolling using the virtual bezel feature. But Samsung has taken care of it by unfurling the new version. Moreover, you can notice a new animation when you open the app drawer after flashing the update. This minor change is not mentioned in the changelog though.

Changelog

  • Improved usability of the following application or feature: Touch bezel.

  • Improved system stability and reliability.

If you own a Galaxy Watch 4 or Watch 4 Classic, you may have to wait for some time as the update is having an incremental rollout. But you can always track the build manually via the dedicated app on your connected smartphone. Otherwise, the version will reach out to you in upcoming days.
