Samsung Gear S2 gets new Watch Faces in Latest Update

Samsung Gear S2 is receiving a fresh update which brings new watch faces and some notable additions are of the new applications, which include World Clock, ESPN and News Briefing apps. Samsung’s Gear S2 was released in October 2015 after debuting at IFA 2015. Moreover, Gear S2 Classic in Rose Gold and Platinum variant will be sold by Amazon, Best Buy, Macy’s, and other retailers starting tomorrow, February 12.

Samsung Gear S2 Update haves all the features listed below.

• This update includes new features, performance improvements, and bug fixes.


• Add new applications: World Clock, ESPN, News Briefing


• Add new watch faces: Mendini watch faces


• Add search function in the Contacts application


• Add new screen time out Setting (Settings – Display – Screen timeout)

• You should upgrade the Samsung Gear application to the latest version for this update

Gold Samsung Galaxy S7 Dummy Spotted

Once again, rumor of Samsung Galaxy S7 has surfaced. This time we got to know that Samsung galaxy S7 is also coming with Gold variant as dummy of the device has been leaked.

In past few weeks we got dummies and renders of the Galaxy S7 in black color and this is for the first time that Samsung Galaxy S7 is spotted in Gold color. Well, design of dummy is similar to that of the black colored dummy which leaked few days ago.

You can see the image above which shows camera’s size similar to that of the leaked images and speculations. Well, Samsung Galaxy S7: 5.1 inch screen, 2560 × 1440 pixel resolution, 32GB/64GB internal storage, 4GB RAM, 12MP rear camera, 5MP or 8MP front-facing camera, microSD card slot, or Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8890 processor, and a 3000 mAh battery.

Snapdragon Wear 2100 Chip will allow thinner smartwatches and Better Battery life

Qualcomm has announced a new processor Snapdragon Wear 2100 chip for wearables. It will solve some of the main problems on the wearables like Battery life and thickness.

Snapdragon Wear 2100 is 25% more power efficient and 30% smaller in size than the Snapdragon 400 which is mostly used in Smartwatches. Snapdragon Wear 400 features integrated ultra-low power sensor hub, which will help with greater tracking accuracy over the Snapdragon 400. It also features a new 4G LTE modem with integrated GNSS, along with low power Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor is available to manufacturers now and we should see devices that use it come later this year. LG is one of the smartwatch makers to commit to developing new smartwatches using the platform. Alto's Adventure Game is here on Play Store

Finally, Alto’s Adventure is made available  for Android and is downloadable from the Play Store. Alto’s Adventure is a gorgeous and addictive endless game that enables you to ride your snowboard for as long as you want.

Gamplay consists of LLamas who get frisked from your village and you have to bring them back. As you board down the mountain, you collect llamas and coins for points. These points can be turned in at the local trader for “cool” items.

The game has 60 levels, with three achievements per level. Completing these achievements is what will keep you hooked to the game.

Alto’s Adventure is currently made available for free from Play Store but it is available from $2.99 on iOS.

So we don’t know whether this is any introductory offer or it’s permanently made available for free on Play Store.

Google Maps Update Brings Photo Addition Ability to Timeline with Reviews

Google has updated its Maps app with some new features and enhancements. Mainly they have added an ability to add photo to the timeline in reviews.

With every update Google is making it easier for the user to use the app. Google Maps not only allow you to give you location of your favourite restaurant but is also tracking the places you visit. Now, the newer version 9.20 is making this all the stuff easy to do.

The update will now show names of the streets and exits that you are supposed to turn to, instead of just showing the blue line. Also now you can edit the names of the location you were at and with whom and at what time.

HTC M10 "Perfume" might be available in US on 9th May

As we all know HTC will skip MWC 2016 for its Flagship device M10 “Perfume” Launch. Now, Today @eveleaks tweets that HTC M10 will hit the US market in week of 9th May. However the Smartphone will be launched in London on 11th April.

Reports all around the web are suggesting that HTC may ditch ‘M10″ in favor of some other name which is still unknown. According to the rumors HTC M10 may come in 2 variant one with Snapdragon 820 and other haves MediaTek processor, 5.1” QHD AMOLED screen, 4GB RAM, and 12MP UltraPixel rear camera with optical image stabilization and laser-assisted AF. In terms of OS, it is said to run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with HTC Sense 8.

Snapdragon 820 in LG G5 confirmed in GeekBench’s Database

LG G5 flagship device of LG which is to be launched on 21st February at MWC 2016. LG’s flagship device recently listed in Geekbench Benchmarks. The listings confirms that device will have Snapdragon 820 with 4GB of RAM.

According to a Geekbench benchmark, the LG G5 comes with model number F700 which is powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor and coupled with 4GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box, and all the new features that come with that. Other rumored specs of the LG G5 include some sort of modular battery, a 5.6-inch QuadHD display, a 20MP camera.

T-Mobile has launched LG K7 on its network with Boost Mobile enabled on it. LG K7 is a cheap device and is available for $99 along with 4G LTE compatibility.
