Samsung Galaxy S21 FE arrives on FCC with 45W fast charging capacity

Samsung was rumored to launch the Galaxy S21 FE in an Unpacked event on August 19th. However, the production got delayed to Q4 due to some technical reasons. After several render leaks online, the device has managed to arrive on FCC. The listing at the online certification site discloses few specs and key details about the Galaxy S21 FE.

The arrival of Galaxy S21 FE at FCC reveals the model number SM-G990U and SM-G990U1 for the device, depending upon the region. The listing divulges some key details regarding the phone’s connectivity and charging features. In fact, it will ship with a high-end feature that’s even missing on the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

According to FCC documentation, The Galaxy S21 FE will pack a 45W of fast charging capacity (11V, 2.25A or 21V, 2.1A). This power was first debuted with Galaxy Note 10+ and made it to the Galaxy S20 Ultra. However, the company failed to deliver the same even to Galaxy S21 Ultra. But, Samsung is making up for it by having this feature onboard for Galaxy S21FE.

Moreover, the device will support fast wireless charging and reverse wireless charging. Regarding connectivity, Galaxy S21 FE will equip dual-band Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac/ax (Wi-Fi 6), Bluetooth 5.0 (with EDR and LE), NFC, WPT (Wireless Power Transfer), sub-6GHz 5G, and a 4G LTE network support.

Nokia 5.4 grabs a new software update with June 2021 security patch

Google Messages enables user to Star texts, photos/videos on Android

Earlier this month, the software giant released the ability to pin conversation and end-to-end encryption for its messaging app. Now, the long-awaited, Star messages feature is also rolling out for Google Messages on Android.

Now, in order to save a received or sent message, you don't need to screenshot. The ability to star texts and images in Google Messages is rolling out on version 8.4, which is currently in the beta phase. After flashing the update, the user can now Star the text message, photos, or videos to save them.

The starred text or media file will be saved separately under a category called "Starred messages." This feature was announced before as a part of Android’s summer additions series. The ability to star content in Google Messages is now having a wider rollout.

GOOGLE MESSAGES

To Star a text or picture, all you have to do is long-press the message and you will see a 'star' icon at the top-right corner of your screen. Once starred, the text/image/video will have a blue mark at the bottom-right corner.

Private Share

Oppo Reno gets Android 11 based ColorOS 11 beta update in India

Samsung rolls out the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update to the Galaxy M10s

Samsung introduced the Galaxy M10s in 2019, and a year after the successful launch, the company has discontinued it along with a few other M Series smartphones. And now, the device has started receiving a new update with the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 (Skin). The update weighs around 1911.90 MB and carries the firmware version M107FXXU4CUF5, and already many users from India have started getting it.

The latest firmware for Oppo F17 is rolling out in India. It will probably reach out to other countries after ensuring that there are no critical bugs. The smartphone was released last year in September with Android 10 based ColorOS 7.2 on board. This major update brings a whole new experience to your smartphone.

OnePlus Nord N200 receives its first update with OxygenOS 11.0.1.0

A week back OnePlus announced the Nord N200 5G powered by Snapdragon 480 5G chipset. The smartphone runs the latest stable channel, Android 11 along with OxygenOS 11 on top. The very next day after the announcement, the company promised to give it four years of update support. Now, OnePlus Nord N200 is grabbing its first update that bumps the skin level to OxygenOS 11.0.1.0.

  • [October 16, 2018]: Samsung starts rolling out September 2018 security patch for its Galaxy A6 units in Europe. The latest build bears the firmware version A600FNXXU3ARJ1. This is a minor update that does not add any new additions. Internally, the patch includes 64 fixes for the Android OS and 18 fixes are added for Samsung’s own vulnerable places, including a leak in the clipboard software.


As the update is having a phase-wise rollout, it may take some time to reach all the units. Realme GT Master Edition and Realme Book tipped ahead of launch

Reportedly, Realme is preparing to launch a set of smart devices in China that will include Realme GT Master Edition and Realme Book. The Vice President of Realme, Wang Wei Derek recently shared an image that revealing the design of the devices. Apparently, Realme GT Master Edition and Realme Book may together debut in July 2021.

This is supposedly the upcoming Realme Book, the first laptop by the company. This picture hints that the duo may launch together by the next month.

The Realme GT Master Edition features a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. The panel flaunts a punch-hole design that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device may equip a Snapdragon 870 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

In the shooting section, the phone will house a triple camera module indulging a 50MP primary sensor, a 16MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP B&W camera. Realme X7 5G gets Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0 Open Beta access

The 5G variant of Realme X7 was made available this year with Android 10 based Realme UI 1.0 on board. The Chinese giant promised to update the device with the latest build in Q2 this year. Keeping its words, Realme is sending the early access update of Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0 to the Realme X7 5G.

The Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0 early beta access for Realme X7 5G is currently live in India. Realme mentions that to enroll themselves for the Early Acess Program, the users should be running Realme UI 1.0 version number RMX3092PU_11.A.14/ 11.A.16/ 11.A.17/ 11.A.18 or 11.A.20.

The announcement was made via the official community forums. The report further added, the smartphones will get all the Android 11 goodies. It will include features like chat bubbles, native screen recorder, enhanced dark theme, smart device controls, and more. Furthermore, it will also drive the Realme UI 2.0 attributes. This includes AOD display, parental controls, digital wellbeing, stock apps design, and much more.

If you are a Realme X7 5G user in India who wants to register for the program, head over to Settings -> Software Update -> Tap on the settings icon in the top right corner -> Trial Version -> Submit your details -> Apply Now. The company will choose a limited number of users who will bag the Realme UI 2.0 Beta.

Google announces a new Android smartphone and 5G partnership with Jio

Last year, Google announced its partnership with Reliance Jio. Today, Jio announced that it will introduce an affordable 5G Jio smartphone powered by Google Cloud. Nokia G20 announced in the US with a high value budget price

Nokia has goodwill since the introduction of the digital era. Starting with Windows smartphones, it entered the Android community with Nokia X2 in 2014. Starting with the design, the Nokia G20 will feature a 6.5-inches HD+ display in a v-notch style at a ratio of 20:9. It has a Brightness boost, making the screen size more impressive. In fact, the company says, even under direct sunlight, the device will be easily and clearly visible

Under the hood, Nokia G20 equips an octa-core processor based on the Mediatek G35 chipset. The device will run Android 11 out of the box coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB of expandable internal storage. As with every device, Nokia promised two major OS updates apart from the three years of security maintenance support.

For shooting purposes, the Nokia G20 offers a quad-camera setup that includes a 48MP primary camera, a 5 MP ultrawide lens, and a couple of 2 MP shooters to measure depth and macro aspects. On the other side, the v-notch houses an 8MP snapper that serves selfies and video calls.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 arrives on FCC with 5G support

Samsung is ready to hit the market with its new Galaxy-M, Galaxy-A, and Galaxy Tab flagships. But, the most exciting products are the new foldable, Galaxy Z Flip 3, and Galaxy Z Fold 3. From the most anticipated device of this year, Galaxy Z Flip 3 has arrived on FCC with 5G support.

The arrival of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 on FCC reveals that it will come with 5G support. The foldable will have the model number SM-F711U or SM-F711U1 depending upon the region. Though the official key specs are not yet out, we do have some render leaks and rumors with us.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G will be the successor of Galaxy Z Fold 2, which was launched the last ear in September. Talking about the design, the company is planning to slim down its foldable series to make them easier to use. Therefore, both of the upcoming foldable will probably arrive with a slimmer and light design.

Moreover, they are likely to carry an LTPO screen with under-display cameras (UDC). The Galaxy Z Fold 3 will be the first Samsung foldable to feature the S Pen to improve its versatility. If this stands true, this will be a hybrid between the S Pen found on the Galaxy S21 Ultra and the Note 20 series.

Galaxy Z Flip 3

In addition to the main panel, Galaxy Z Fold 3 is likely to flaunt a 7.55-inch display. A dual battery capacity of 4,380 mAh will probably back up the device. Also, some leaks suggest that the phone will have Android 11 OS on board paired with 128GB and 256GB of storage variants.

In the shooting section, the smartphone may equip a triple rear camera consisting of two 12MP and a 16MP snapper. While the front could house a 16MP shooter on the main display and a 12MP lens on the cover display.
