Google Calculator 8.2 brings two-column UI for tablets

Google is updating its stock apps for large-screen Android devices. In the latest development, the Calculator app is getting a new UI for Android tablets. The visual changes are a part of Google Calculator version 8.2.

Earlier, the calculator app for the tablet was just a regular landscape version that displayed additional functions on the left side of the keypad. With the latest update, the layout does not t makes up the entire screen. In fact, you can hide the extra function in case they are not needed. Now that the display area is relatively large, the “History” section is always visible on the left side. Previously, the past actions were accessible by pulling down the screen and hiding the keys.

The latest update is not major, but the two-column UI intends to serve to make multitasking easier and more convenient. In order to use the simple layout, just rotate your phone to portrait orientation.

The Google Calculator 8.2 is rolling out via the Play Store app. However, it is not yet available for everyone. Although you can always sideload it manually.

According to the China Telecom website, the upcoming Vivo T2 5G will bear the model number V2199GA. Talking about the design, the smartphone will feature an identical to the iQOO Neo 6. On the front, the phone will flaunt a hole-punch cutout at the top center and a triple rear camera setup at the back housed inside a square shape module.

As per the listing, the Vivo T2 5G will sport a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. Also, a 4,700 mAh battery will keep the system working with an 80W fast charging support.

It seems like the company is preparing to offer another affordable device to the lineup: Galaxy M13 5G. The smartphone went live on Samsung's UK official website with SM-M135F/DSN model number. To recall, the Galaxy A13 5G was also spotted on Bluetooth SIG and FCC a while ago. Also, the live images of the phone were leaked as well revealing a dual-camera setup. All these listing indicates that the phone could soon make its debut in multiple markets, including UK and Europe.

Considering the "DS" in the model number, we can say that the Galaxy M13 5G will offer a Dual SIM capacity. As revealed by the FCC portal, the phone will support 15W of fast charging. In addition, the device will offer Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity.

According to the rumors, the Galaxy M13 5G is likely to feature a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution. For shooting purposes, the handset is tipped to carry a dual-camera setup. The capacity of the lenses may stand at a 50MP primary unit and a 2MP depth sensor. In addition, it can provide a USB Type-C port on the bottom.

Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro announced in India: Specifications & Price

Vivo has introduced its new flagship lineup in India. The latest Vivo X80 series includes two models: Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro. To recall, the lineup was launched in China last month, while the global version was running around the rumor mill. Here is a closer look at the global variants of the Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro.

Vivo X80

The Vivo X80 is built around a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel with a punch-hole cutout at the top center. The screen offers 1,500 nits of peak brightness and a 120 Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the smartphone runs the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC. The Vivo X80 arrives in up to 12 GB of RAM with up to 256 GB of internal storage. For software, the handset comes pre-installed with Android 12 OS tossed with Funtouch OS 12 skin iteration on top.

Underneath, the company has prepared the device with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Moreover, the Vivo X80 Pro packs a 4,700 mAh battery that supports 80W of fast charging and 50W of fast wireless charging.



For optics, the Pro model carries a quad rear camera. The capacity of the unit stands at a 50 MP primary camera, 48 MP ultrawide sensor, a 12 MP portrait lens, and an 8 MP periscope shooter.

Vivo X80 comes in Cosmic Black and Urban Blue color options, while the Pro model is available in a single Cosmic Black color. Both smartphones will go on sale starting May 25 via Vivo e-Store, Flipkart, and other major retail partners.
