The latest OnePlus 9 Series update adds gaming and efficiency tweaks

A few months back, the OnePlus 9 series got upgraded to OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12. Since then, the company is seeding out new updates to polish the user experience. On that note, the company is ready to deliver a new software update to the OnePlus 9 duo that particularly tweaks the multitasking and gaming experience.

The latest update for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro is bundled with the firmware version C.60. Concerning changes, the 1.5GB weighed package adds HyperBoost end-to-end frame rate stabilizer. In addition, it allows opening 3 phone windows on the PC. Moreover, it will reduce gaming loads and power consumption for some games as well. As always, the new software is rolling out in batches and will reach out to you via an OTA. Accordingly, it will roll out to limited users at first, while a border release will take place in a few days. Meanwhile, the user can track the build manually via Software updates under the Settings menu.
