Oppo has performed an exceptional job in rolling out Android 11 ColorOS 11 to its flagships. Adhering to the June 2021 roadmap, the Chinese giant is sending Android 11 based ColorOS 11 Beta to the standard Oppo Reno units in India. The device debuted in late 2019 in the country with Android 9 (Pie) pre-installed.

As mentioned, the latest firmware for Oppo Reno is rolling out in India. It will probably expand to other regions after ensuring that there are no critical bugs. The Android 11 ColorOS 11 update is out in a beta version. Interested users can register and apply themselves in the first batch of Beta testers from June 29 to July 3.
However, there are some eligibility criteria for this as well. If you are enrolling in the program, make sure your phone has updated to version (Detectable Version): C.37/C.38. Also, Oppo has listed some must-know key points before you register the device for the program:
- Please backup important data on the phone before updating to avoid data loss.
- Updating might lead to your device heating, lagging, and fast battery draining.
- Some third-party applications are not compatible with Android 11. Therefore, after updating these applications might not be available or have technical issues.
To register for the ColorOS 11 (Android 11) Beta update, follow the ‘guide to apply’ in Settings > Software Update > Click the settings icon on the screen > Apply for Beta Version > Update Beta Version.
Once applied, Oppo will review your application in a week and if it is a success, your drive will bag the update soon. However, you might have to wait for the next round in case the application quota is full.
