Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) receives Android 11 update

Samsung is now focusing to update its older flagships with the latest stable channel. The company is expanding the Android 11 OS for the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) to few more markets with Core One UI 3.1. FYI, the Core One UI 3.1 is the lighter version of One UI 3.1. The device was officially launched a couple of years back Android 9 Pie.

The fresh build for the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (SM-T295) arrives on firmware version T295XXU4CUF7. Presently, the build is rolling out in Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, Italy, Kazakhstan, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and the UK. Concerning changes, Android 11 offers features like a new UI, chat bubbles, native screen recorder, dedicated conversation section in the notifications area, enhanced performance, and much more.




Talking about Core One UI 3.1, it is designed to help you focus on what matters. The package arrives with more lock screen widgets, improvements in Samsung Internet and Samsung Keyboard. Moreover, the company enhances the privacy and security of the device with one-time permissions, auto permissions reset, and better parental controls.


As usual, the OTA update will hit the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) units in the respective countries in a short span of time. Alternatively, you can also track the new package manually by heading to the device's Settings > Software update > Download and install.
