Huawei Mate 8 getting a new update with February security patch. It also brings some fixes to issues, including those related to security, privilege escalation, and remote code execution.

If you are a Huawei Mate 8 user you should get the OTA notification for update. If did not get it yet than you can check it manually by going through the settings of the Phone. However, Nexus devices and Blackberry android powered Priv already gets the update for this month.

Google is Going to Shut Down Play for Education from March 14

Google has launched Play for Education back in 2013. It is Used by the Educational users to purchase apps and books and further distribute them to their students Android Tablets. Now Play for Education initiative will be coming to an end form 14th of March.

However, Google will continue to support existing Play for Education users till the end-of-life date of their tablets and teachers will continue to have access to Play for Education to find content and push it out to their students. But after 14th March Google will not sell the Play for Education licenses.

We’re committed to providing schools with the best-in-class tools for the classroom, including Chromebooks, which are the #1 selling device in US K-12 education, and a strong and growing ecosystem of educational apps. Acer to Showcased Their VR Products in MWC 2016

Acer is going to join the Virtual Reality industry and going to launch the products in the first half of the 2016. According to the CEO Jason Chen company is also planning to showcase of its development at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016.

Instagram Gets two-way Authentication

Instagram will to give users feature of two-way authentication. It seems photo sharing company is getting tough on security as they have taken step to give the two-way authentication as like of Facebook and Google.

This feature is now under testing as confirmed by TechCrunch. Also, it works same as that of Facebook, Twitter and Google. It will allow you to set a phone number through which you will get secure code and will gain access to your account or there are 10 self generated passwords which you can use when your phone is not in your contact. It’s quite difficult to infiltrate into any account if you even know password, to gain access to your account you need to have secure code.
