Samsung Gear S2 18K Rose Gold, Platinum edition Unveiled in India

Samsung unveiled its Two new variants of Gear S2 classic in India, one is plated with 18K Rose Gold and other is platinum coated. Along with these two Variants of gear S2 company is also offering some new watch faces with news services like cab services from Uber, G’Night sleep tracking app, reminder specialist My Notes in Gear and an all-new YouTube browsing app.


For a reminder the Gear S2 features a 1.2 inch super AMOLED display that has a resolution of 360 by 360 pixels. The device also comes with a Snapdragon 400 processor and there is also 512MB of RAM and 4GB of built in storage and it runs Samsung’s Tizen OS. Gear S2 boasts of an IP67 rating that makes it dust and water resistant. It also comes with a heart rate sensor. Its connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and houses a 250mAh battery.

Xiaomi Mi 5 coming to India in this Week

Xiaomi launched its flagship device Mi 5 on February 24 in China. Now the company has sent us the official press invite for the launch of Xiaomi Mi 5 in India on March 31st. Although company did not say anything about the price yet.

For a reminder Xiaomi Mi 5 is powered by a Quad-Core Snadpragon 820 processor and runs on MIUI 7 based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has a 16-megapixel rear camera with two-tone LED flash and 4 megapixel front camera. It is also packed with USB Type-C port and a 3000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, fingerprint sensor is present and phone also has a 3D glass body with strong glass.

Moreover, Xiaomi Mi 5 will be available in three versions – standard edition featuring 3GB LPDD4 RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage priced at CNY 1,999 (approximately INR 21,000); high version featuring 3GB LPDD4 RAM and 64GB storage priced at CNY 2,299 (approximately INR 24,000), and exclusive edition featuring 4GB LPDD4 RAM and 128GB storage priced at CNY 2,999 (approximately INR. 31,500).

Install Android 6.0 Marshmallow on Galaxy S4

This time here we are with guide on how to install Android 6.0 Marshmallow on Galaxy S4. Samsung’s Galaxy S4 is quite old device which is was launched in the year of 2013.

Samsung’s flagship device of 2013 is packed with  Exynos 5 Octa 5410 SoC, with four 1.6GHz Cortex A15 cores and four 1.2GHz Cortex A7 cores packed on a single chip. Along with that it also has the PowerVR SGX 544MP3 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal memory with microSD card slot, 5.0-inch, 1920 x 1080 resolution Super AMOLED display, 13 megapixel camera with 1080p video recording, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, 2,600mAh battery.


Samsung officially rolled Android 5.0 Lollipop to the Samsung Galaxy S4 in various countries. Also in the U.S. mostly all the carriers rolled the update to its users. Well, coming onto the Marshmallow, Samsung hasn’t said anything about the official update to Galaxy S4.

Samsung didn’t rolled the update but team Cyanogen has rolled out CyanogenMod 13 support for the Galaxy S4. Today, we are going to install Android 6.0 Marshmallow on Galaxy S4.


You need to follow the following steps to install the CyanogenMod 13.


Things needed for Installing CyanogenMod 13 on Galaxy S4


  • Charge your smartphone in order to avoid further problems – your phone might get bricked if it gets turned off in the middle of the CM 13 update procedure.

  • Rooted Galaxy S4

  • Charging of upto 50%.

  • You must use a computer, your smartphone and its USB cable.

  • On your computer you will have to download some files.

  • On your Galaxy S4 Mini gain Developer Options: go to “menu – settings – about phone” and tap a few times on Built Number.

  • Then, enable USB debugging option by accessing “menu – settings – developer options”.

  • Make sure you apply this tutorial only if you have the 3G or LTE model of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini – the steps from below are compatible only with the mentioned Android based smartphone

How to Root Galaxy S4


Required files: download the TWRP recovery for Samsung Galaxy S4 I9500 from here and the Odin3 v3.04 on your PC. Extract the Odin file into a folder and run the exe.


  • Switch off your Galaxy S4 i9500.

  • Boot the SGS4 into Download mode: reboot by holding Volume DownHome and Power buttons simultaneously. 

  • Once in Download mode, connect the S4 i9500 to PC using a USB cable. Odin will detect the SGS4 and ID:COM on Odin box will turn yellow along with an ADDED!! message.

  • Click on PDA button and locate the tar.md5 file from the firmware folder installed earlier. Do not make any changes in default settings of Odin. Just make sure that re-partition is unchecked.

  • Click on the START button to start the flashing process. When the installation is completed successfully, your Galaxy S4 will restart automatically and you will get a PASS message on Odin.

  • Unplug your phone from computer.

Install CM13 Android 6.0 Marshmallow custom ROM firmware on Galaxy S4


  1. Make sure you’re running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)

  2. Copy GApps and crDroid zip to your internal SDCard

  3. Boot into Recovery (by holding Volume Up + Home + Power buttons simultaneously)

  4. Wipe system,dalvik,data and cache

  5. Flash crDroid zip

  6. Flash GApps zip

  7. DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET

  8. Come back to Main menu of recovery select “reboot system now”.

HTC 10 Rear Case are here taken from different views

HTC 10 Rear Case has been leaked giving clear looks of the front and back side of HTC 2016. It’s not exact design of the back of the HTC 10 but we can hint on how it is going to look like.




















































A rather interesting listing has surfaced online of what appears to be a replacement shell for the still unannounced flagship. It is offered in gray and black for only around $30 or so and best of all, the page features a set of detailed photos for us to enjoy.


After looking at the various pictures we came to know about single speaker, USB-C port and a 3.5 mm jack on the top. Further, there are lot more that pictures are saying and you can hae a look at them here.


Additionally, it will sport a 5.2-inch QHD display with a Snapdragon 820 chipset under the hood. The smartphone is expected to feature same 12MP rear camera already seen on Nexus 6P and will be backed by a 3,000mAh battery.

Huawei Rolling out Android Marshmallow for Honor 7 in Europe

Huawei is Rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow to its flagship device Honor 7 in Europe. Company has made the announcement on Twitter about the update. Earlier last Honor 7 gets marshmallow update in India.

The Update is currently rolling Over The Air, Although it is expected by the end of February. The update which has rolled out in India for Honor 7 includes the newer version of Huawei’s user interface EMUI 4.0 and other several new features like professional mode in Camera, Improve Gallery with some more filters and labels, ‘Smart Group’ function has been added to ‘Contacts’, and you now have 4 seconds to cancel the SMS you sent along with Android Marshmallow.

We think same features will be included in the European release of update with little changes. Now as the Roll Out has just begin, it may take some time before the update hits your device. If you feel impatient you can check it manually by going through the settings of the smartphone.

OnePlus 3 Specs surface on AnTuTu with Snapdragon 820 and 4GB RAM

OnePlus is the Chinese smartphone manufacturing company, it launched its first handset OnePlus One in 2014 which becomes a big hit in the market. In 2015 July they launch their successor OnePlus 2 Now specs of OnePlus 3 surfaced on AnTuTu and the phone is rumored to be unveiled on 7th April.

According to the listings on AnTuTu OnePlus 3 will have a Snapdragon Qualcomm 820 processor, and an Adreno TM 530 GPU. Screen size is unknown but will have a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. There’s also the 8MP and 16MP cameras, 32GB built-in storage, and 4GB RAM. Moreover OnePlus 3 will runs on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

Hulu Launches VR App for Samsung Gear VR

Hulu launched its App for Samsung Gear VR. Now you can watch conventional movies and TV shows alongside Hulu’s app comes equipped with around 30 non-exclusive 360-degree videos video from the likes of Discovery, National Geographic, Showtime and Hulu itself.

Whole Content on Hulu’s new app is free but hulu monetized it in several ways. The Hulu VR app is currently supported on Samsung Gear VR powered by Oculus, which works with the Galaxy S7/S7 edge, Galaxy Note5, Galaxy S6 edge+, Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge phones.


Coming to some other streaming services only Netflix own app for Gear VR rest all the services namely Twitch, Vimeo, and TiVo are reportedly launching their own Gear VR apps in the near future.

HTC 10 Beats Xiaomi Mi5 and Galaxy S7 Edge AnTuTu

HCT 10 has been leaked again in a fresh spell of rumors. This time we got to see the front side of the device with home button at the bottom and AnTuTu Benchmarks results on the display.

As per the latest leak, HTC 10 is scoring ahead of the Xiaomi Mi5 and Samsung’s Galaxy S7 Edge. HTC 10 scored 150691 pts while Xiaomi Mi 5 is at 136875 which is lower than said in the recent report. Further, it is way ahead of the Galaxy S7 Edge which is at 134599 pts.


This is not the first time  that front side of the HTC 10 has been flaunted while showing its home button which is framed with Fingerprint sensor. Earlier also, we have got some pictures showing some of HTC 10’s sides.


Well, this latest report gives us hint about the hardware which HTC is going to embed in it.

Sony going to make PlayStation Games for Mobiles

Sony has announced today that company will form a new business unit that is tasked with bringing PlayStation games to mobiles. Earlier Nintendo already hits mobile phones with its new mobile games. Sony’s new division will be formally created on April 1.


The company said in its announcement today that it’s PlayStation mobile titles will be “full-fledged,” which is something that gamers might appreciate, so they’ll certainly be looking forward to see what Sony comes up with.


Earlier PlayStation Mobile initiative is started by Sony and shut down last year. This platform aimed to bridge the gap between indie mobile games and the PlayStation Vita handheld.
