Oppo R9 & R9 Plus are coming to India on April 5th

Oppo is al set to launch its R9 & R9 Plus smartphones in India on April 5th. Oppo already launched its R9 and R9 Plus in China on 17th March. Both the smartphones are having the powerful front cameras. Moreover is designed very similar to iPhone 6.

Oppo India has started sending media invites for an event on April 5 for a “camera phone launch”.The Chinese company has also started teasing the “selfie-expert” handsets on Facebook and Twitter. Although the price of both the device in India are not out yet, but according to the pricing in china Oppo R9 and Oppo R9 Plus have been priced at CNY 2,799 (approximately Rs. 29,000) and CNY 3,299 (approximately Rs. 34,000) respectively.

AirDroid Brings Photos Backup on Local Network in Latest Update

AirDroid, a popular app to sync up your mobile device with your PC or laptop or vice versa. It can bring your messages to PC and you can even reply them from your big screen machine without opening your device.

Today, AirDroid has received the update which has brought a major feature of automatic Photos Backup on Local Network. This service is much similar to that of Dropbox and Google Photos but this time the photos are gettings backed up on your local PC. There’s no role of cloud in the AirDroid service of Photos Backup. The photos automatically gets synced to the computer whenever you establish local network between both of the devices.

YouTube Music Update Brings New Features like WiFi only Streaming and More

YouTube Music is receiving an update with lot of new features and one of the biggest is allowing the streaming when you are connected to WiFi only. You can enable this features by heading to the settings of the app.

If you guys are not familiar with the YouTube Music app than for your information, it is the app made for YouTube Red subscribers. You can now choose to stream music videos only in WiFi and that too you can choose from whether you want to Stream HD videos or not (it is old feature).

Other addition is the “More button(artist)”, which will give access to whole music from that particular artist.

Samsung Accidently Confirms the Galaxy S7 Active

Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge is here after tits launch at Mobile World Congress 2016. Now, as like of the Galaxy S5, Samsung is going to launch the new variants like Active for the Galaxy S7.

Samsung Galaxy S5 came with various variants like mini, Prime, Plus and Active. The same variant of Active came with Galaxy S6. So, as similar like of Galaxy S7’s predecessors, the flagship of 2016 is also going to come with Active variant.

Today, SamMobile got a look of the latest edition of the Samsung Level app which lists the unannounced Galaxy S7 Active in its changelog. Though there’s still no word on specific features or release info, it’s now safe to say that the Galaxy S7 Active is in the works.

As per the details leaked, it is expected that model number SM-G891A, the S7 Active will likely add military-grade protection (MIL-STD-810G) to the handset. Also, higher capacity of battery is going to be attached by Galaxy S7 Active.

Further there are many more unknown features coming to the handset.

Samsung Gear S2 18K Rose Gold, Platinum edition Unveiled in India

Samsung unveiled its Two new variants of Gear S2 classic in India, one is plated with 18K Rose Gold and other is platinum coated. Along with these two Variants of gear S2 company is also offering some new watch faces with news services like cab services from Uber, G’Night sleep tracking app, reminder specialist My Notes in Gear and an all-new YouTube browsing app.

For a reminder the Gear S2 features a 1.2 inch super AMOLED display that has a resolution of 360 by 360 pixels. The device also comes with a Snapdragon 400 processor and there is also 512MB of RAM and 4GB of built in storage and it runs Samsung’s Tizen OS. Gear S2 boasts of an IP67 rating that makes it dust and water resistant. Xiaomi Mi 5 coming to India in this Week

Xiaomi launched its flagship device Mi 5 on February 24 in China. Now the company has sent us the official press invite for the launch of Xiaomi Mi 5 in India on March 31st. Although company did not say anything about the price yet.

For a reminder Xiaomi Mi 5 is powered by a Quad-Core Snadpragon 820 processor and runs on MIUI 7 based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has a 16-megapixel rear camera with two-tone LED flash and 4 megapixel front camera. It is also packed with USB Type-C port and a 3000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, fingerprint sensor is present and phone also has a 3D glass body with strong glass.

Install Android 6.0 Marshmallow on Galaxy S4

This time here we are with guide on how to install Android 6.0 Marshmallow on Galaxy S4. Samsung’s Galaxy S4 is quite old device which is was launched in the year of 2013.

Samsung’s flagship device of 2013 is packed with  Exynos 5 Octa 5410 SoC, with four 1.6GHz Cortex A15 cores and four 1.2GHz Cortex A7 cores packed on a single chip. Along with that it also has the PowerVR SGX 544MP3 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal memory with microSD card slot, 5.0-inch, 1920 x 1080 resolution Super AMOLED display, 13 megapixel camera with 1080p video recording, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, 2,600mAh battery.

Samsung officially rolled Android 5.0 Lollipop to the Samsung Galaxy S4 in various countries. Also in the U.S. mostly all the carriers rolled the update to its users. Well, coming onto the Marshmallow, Samsung hasn’t said anything about the official update to Galaxy S4.

Samsung didn’t rolled the update but team Cyanogen has rolled out CyanogenMod 13 support for the Galaxy S4. Today, we are going to install Android 6.0 Marshmallow on Galaxy S4.

You need to follow the following steps to install the CyanogenMod 13.

Things needed for Installing CyanogenMod 13 on Galaxy S4

• Charge your smartphone in order to avoid further problems – your phone might get bricked if it gets turned off in the middle of the CM 13 update procedure.


• Rooted Galaxy S4


• Charging of upto 50%.


• You must use a computer, your smartphone and its USB cable.


• On your computer you will have to download some files.


• On your Galaxy S4 Mini gain Developer Options: go to “menu – settings – about phone” and tap a few times on Built Number.


• Then, enable USB debugging option by accessing “menu – settings – developer options”.


• Make sure you apply this tutorial only if you have the 3G or LTE model of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini – the steps from below are compatible only with the mentioned Android based smartphone

How to Root Galaxy S4

Required files: download the TWRP recovery for Samsung Galaxy S4 I9500 from here and the Odin3 v3.04 on your PC. Extract the Odin file into a folder and run the exe.

• Switch off your Galaxy S4 i9500.


• Boot the SGS4 into Download mode: reboot by holding Volume Down, Home and Power buttons simultaneously. 


• Once in Download mode, connect the S4 i9500 to PC using a USB cable. Odin will detect the SGS4 and ID:COM on Odin box will turn yellow along with an ADDED!! message.


• Click on PDA button and locate the tar.md5 file from the firmware folder installed earlier. Do not make any changes in default settings of Odin. Just make sure that re-partition is unchecked.


• Click on the START button to start the flashing process. When the installation is completed successfully, your Galaxy S4 will restart automatically and you will get a PASS message on Odin.


• Unplug your phone from computer.

Install CM13 Android 6.0 Marshmallow custom ROM firmware on Galaxy S4

1. Make sure you’re running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)


2. Copy GApps and crDroid zip to your internal SDCard


3. Boot into Recovery (by holding Volume Up + Home + Power buttons simultaneously)


4. Wipe system,dalvik,data and cache


5. Flash crDroid zip


6. Flash GApps zip


7. DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET


8. Come back to Main menu of recovery select “reboot system now”.

HTC 10 Rear Case are here taken from different views

HTC 10 Rear Case has been leaked giving clear looks of the front and back side of HTC 2016. It’s not exact design of the back of the HTC 10 but we can hint on how it is going to look like.

A rather interesting listing has surfaced online of what appears to be a replacement shell for the still unannounced flagship. It is offered in gray and black for only around $30 or so and best of all, the page features a set of detailed photos for us to enjoy.

After looking at the various pictures we came to know about single speaker, USB-C port and a 3.5 mm jack on the top. Further, there are lot more that pictures are saying and you can hae a look at them here.

Additionally, it will sport a 5.2-inch QHD display with a Snapdragon 820 chipset under the hood. The smartphone is expected to feature same 12MP rear camera already seen on Nexus 6P and will be backed by a 3,000mAh battery.
