Huawei’s sub brand Honor teased via a tweet that Honor 5X will soon get Android Marshmallow, this teasing tweet comes through the Honor US twitter handle. The handset originally launched in the US back in January and currently runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.

In this short teaser their is not much information about when exactly Honor 5X will get the Android Marshmallow update. Although We can expect all of the core Marshmallow Android features, including Doze, Google Now on Tap, and granular app permissions, to make their way intact, and there will probably be a new security patch included too.
The Honor 5X made its debut in the U.S. in January, where it is retailing for $200. The phone is also available in Europe for £189.99.
