Whatsapp Reportedlly Getting Video Calling Feature Very Soon

A video calling feature of whatsapp is in work form last six months, first leak comes up with the screenshots of the iOS version having video calling feature. Now WhatsApp has started getting the Video Call option in the latest beta (v2.16.80) that is available through the Google Play Store. Moreover the feature was not available to a large number of users and whatsapp removes a video calling feature with later update.

Although the feature was removed, but it is the indication that Video calling on Whatsapp is coming very soon for all the users. Other than this feature, there are reportedly other new features which are coming to Whatsapp in the near future that are callbacks, voicemails and ZIP file attachments. The callback feature, which will display a Call Back button in the event of a missed call, will come to both iOS and Android devices, while the voicemail feature, which will record and send voice conversations, will only be for the iOS version.

Lenovo comes up with Another affordable 4G smartphone "Vibe C" goes official

Lenovo has launched its another affordable android phone of its Vibe Series namely “Lenovo Vibe C”. Lenovo Vibe C has spotted on the Croatian website eKupi with the price tag of 698 Croatian Kuna ( $100, INR 7043 approximately).


Lenovo Vibe C is powered by a 1.1 GHz 32-bit Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM and 8/16GB internal storage options which can be upgraded to 32 GB via MicroSD. The camera department is handled by a 5MP rear unit and 2MP front shooter. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system and has the Vibe UI on top of it. There is a 2300 mAh battery in this phone.

Now we comes to connectivity the smartphone offers Dual SIM (Dual standby), 4G LTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. Moreover, pre-orders of Vibe C has begun on the eKupi Cortain Website and Shipments will begin on May 18.

Moto G4 and G4 Plus Reportedly pass through FCC

Motorola couple of unknown phones(most probably Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus) are certified by FCC. The Model no. of the phones which are passed by FCC are “XT1622” and “XT1642”. Moreover, the company has send out invites in New Delhi for an Event on May 17 event in which Motorola may launch their Moto G4 and G4 Plus.

Earlier the phone is spotted on GeekBench, according to the listings there Moto G4 features a Snapdragon 617 SoC, 3GB RAM, and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow,5.5-inch 1080p display as well as a fingerprint scanner.  While the Moto G4 Plus is expected to feature a 16-megapixel primary camera, the standard G4 is expected to house a 13-megapixel camera.

Price of both the devices will be under INR 15000($250).


However, few days ago Motorola has launched its Moto 360 Sport variant in the Indian market with a price tag of INR 19,999. However, Moto 360 Sport is currently available to Buy exclusively on Flipkart.

HTC Desire 820 is launched back in 2014 with Snapdragon 615 chipset and 2GB of RAM inside, Now this phone is getting Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with HTC’s user interface HTC Sense 7.

However, we don’t know clearly which regions are getting this marshmallow update. But the update will include all the basic features of Android marshmallow like Doze, Now on Tap, Runtime Permissions and Google Now on Tap.


As we all know that the firmware updates are usually rolled out in phases. So don’t panic, it you did not get the OTA notification yet, it will come to you in a few days. Meanwhile, you can check for the update manually by going through the settings of your Phone.

Samsung Galaxy A8 Marshmallow Update is coming very Soon

The Samsung Galaxy A8 was launched last year with Android 5.1 Lollipop. Now Samsung is Planing to roll out the Android Marshmallow on Galaxy A8 in week or two.

Wi-Fi Certification approval for running Android Marshmalow on Samsung Galaxy A8. So if you own a Galaxy A8, you shouldn’t have too much longer to wait until you can start playing around with all the new functionality Marshmallow has to offer. The Update will include all the basic features of Android marshmallow like Doze, Now on Tap, Runtime Permissions and Google Now on Tap.

However, there are not any official confirmation of any sorts. So if it is true, than it’s a good news for all the lower end smartphone of Samsung devices because it seems Samsung is focusing on Firmware updates now. Moreover, the Company is expected to roll out the new firmware to some of its devices, like the Galaxy A5 (2016), Galaxy A7 (2016), Galaxy J3 (2016), Galaxy J5, Galaxy J7.

YouTube App is now giving In-App Messaging Support

YouTube is rolling out In-App Messaging Support to its mobile app on both Android and iOS platforms(the feature has rolled out to very limited no. of Users till now). In-App messaging is in beta phase lets friends communicate easier with each other while sharing their favorite videos. YouTube In-App Messaging


According to the source if a user is having access to In-App Messaging feature than, if he/she  invite their friends into conversations, they’ll receive access to the feature, as well. However, users of social media will find the messenger app very familiar. Texts appear in a window next to the videos shared by friends. As users take a peek at a shared video, they can easily go back to the discussion thread and continue the text conversation.

Google has been forced to make these changes in its YouTube app. Although YouTube is still the number 1 online video posting service but from last year Facebook and Snapchat is cutting down YouTube’s audience aggressively. NVIDIA announces Android 6.0.1 Update For SHIELD Tablet

Nvidia starts rolling out the latest Android 6.0.1 marshmallow to Shield Tablet. The update came under the name of SOFTWARE UPGRADE 4.1 which includes the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with emoji, this update also upgraded the Android 6.0 Security Patch Level to March 1, 2016. Android Marshmallow Roll Out finally Begins for AT&T HTC M9 and M8

AT&T HTC One M9 and M8 users will finally start getting Android 6.0 marshmallow Today. This was announced by the Taiwanese company’s VP of Product Management Mo Versi on Twitter. So Guys keep an eye out for a notification or head to your Settings to check for it manually.

It’s worth mentioning that it’s been a while since the Android Marshmallow update was released by the other major carriers in the US for the HTC One M8 and One M9 so AT&T is definitely late to the party. Although AT&T will start rolling out OTA today itself but it may take one or two days to reach every user of these phones.

Microsoft Shutting down Sunrise Calender App on August 31

Microsoft has acquired Sunrise calender App back in the last year and merging with Outlook. But now Sunrise team has announced the shut down of its calender app on August 31.

After 31st August there will be no new updates, bug fixes, or any support of the sort. If you’re hoping to continuing Sunrise-esque features, than you have to switch over to Outlook App  on both iOS and Android platform. That’s why Microsoft has been gradually improving the calendar that’s built into its Outlook iOS and Android apps. Just last month, Microsoft added Facebook, Evernote, and Wunderlist integration, and the Sunrise team helped add these into Outlook. Additional calendar apps are expected soon, including Skype for Business and OneNote integration.
