The Korean giant is quite eager to rollout the security patch for its smartphone devices, especially the flagship devices. The company is consistently rolling out security updates and regular software upgrades to enhance the overall stability of the devices. After brining last month’s security patch before everyone else, here’s once again Samsung bringing July 2020 Security Patch update for Galaxy S20 series.
The new update brings fixes which allows the users to record voice using Bluetooth Microphones. There was an issue while doing voice recording from connected bluetooth microphones. The support for Mirror Link is finally aborted via this update. However, the information about the same was posted by Samsung a few wees ago.
The Galaxy S20 is receiving July 2020 Security Patch with the firmware version G98XNKSU1ATFD. The update is rolling Over-The-Air in South Korea, and weighs 386 MB in size. All the versions of Galaxy S20 will soon start receiving the update in other countries.
In case if you’re using a Korean Variant and didn’t received the update until now, then make sure to manually check by heading to Settings > About > Software updates and hit Check for Updates option. It may take some time to reach each and every unit.
We will keep updating this post as the updates keep arriving in other countries. Don’t forget to follow us!
