Google lodges a new Chromecast with FCC documentation

Alongside the new Pixel 6 series, Google is probably planning to introduce another product as well i.e; a new Chromecast. Recently, a new Google device received the FCC certification. According to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) documentation, the new smart device carries the model number Google GJQ9T. Further, it is certified under the "Wireless Streaming Device" category that supports Bluetooth and dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity. However, it also has a standalone case that will display the regulatory information.

Considering the leaked details, Google GJQ9T is likely to be the successor of Chromecast Ultra. Perhaps Google has a surprise underneath as a majority of the latest smart TVs equip the Chromecast Ultra technology. For the unawares, it supports a single USB port for 5V charging.

Xiaomi is updating the Mi Smart Band 6 with a flashlight function

Xiaomi introduced the Mi Smart Band 6 alongside the Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro, and Mi 11 Lite 5G Smartphones. The latest update for the Mi Smart Band 6 is arriving on firmware version 1.0.4.38. Presently, the build is rolling out in UK, Czech Republic, and Kuwait, while the units in other regions will get similar treatment soon.

Also, the company has mentioned that in order to grab the new update, the user needs to update the MI Fit app to version 5.3.0. Back in April, the wearable received its first update that added a new feature for monitoring sleep breathing quality. Google Photos Memories arriving as a widget to Android devices

At the Google I/O 2021, the company said to release an enhanced memories function to Google Photos. Following this, the Android users are finally receiving an update that provides a shortcut to having a glimpse of your memories without opening the app specifically. To be more clear, The update added a Memories widget that was only limited to iOS users since now.

As the name suggests, Memories display pictures from the past based on certain criteria. For instance, pictures clicked on the same day in a different year, images that have similar colors, similar people, photos taken at specific times, and so on.
