[Update: August 2021 Security Patch] Realme GT Master Edition Updates Tracker

In July 2021, Realme announced the GT Master Edition smartphone featuring a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display. Under the hood, it is powered by an Octa-core processor-based Snapdragon 778G 5G SoC. The smartphone ships with Android 11, Realme UI 2.0 out of the box paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.   • [September 6, 2021]: Realme GT Master Edition is receiving a new software update on the firmware version RMX3360_11_A.04. While other OEMs are preparing their next-gen skin that will support the Android 12 operating system. OnePlus is still testing OxygenOS 11 for its previous flagships. Following its reframed timeline, OnePlus Nord is now receiving the sixth open beta for the latest stable skin.

According to the changelog, the security patch of OnePlus Nord will be upgraded to August 2021. The changes in the system will improve its stability for a seamless experience. After downloading, put the package in the root directory of the device’s internal storage.

Samsung Galaxy M52 5G spotted on FCC with model number SM-M526B

A new device by Samsung called Galaxy M52 5G has recently made an appearance on multiple certification listings and benchmark sites. Now, the device has surfaced on the FCC certification website. With the continuous listing of the device on different sites, the picture has started to become more clear.

The arrival of Galaxy M52 5G at FCC reveals the model number SM-M526B/DS depending upon the region. Alongside, the listing divulges the support of a 5G network and Wi-Fi (2.4GHz + 5GHz) connectivity.

Before this, the Galaxy M52 5G surfaced on Bluetooth SIG with SM-M526BR_DS number and Bluetooth v5.0 support. The Geekbench listing follows after. An 8GB RAM variant has made an appearance on the Geekbench powering Snapdragon 778G SoC. Moreover, it revealed that the device will run Android 11 out of the box along with One UI 3.1 skin on top.

Reportedly, the Galaxy M52 5G is tipped to feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Furthermore, in the optics department, the handset is likely to offer a 64MP triple rear camera. The other lenses could include a 12MP ultra-wide lens and a 5MP sensor to measure depth. On the other side, the phone is expected to house a 32MP selfie snapper.

Google redesigns the Search app on Android with ‘Collections’ tab

Google Search is one of the most powerful search engines. However, the company is not so frequent in updating the platform. The last build arrived more than a year ago. Finally, after a long gap, the app is getting an integrated bookmarking feature— Collections, making it more useful than before.

While the last update emphasized enabling group pages, images, and locations. The new version automatically organizes the recently visited sites and shows the pages accordingly. The first noticeable change is the “Quick access” section that displays “Recently saved” places and “Frequently visited” pages. Also, the user has the power to amend these entries via the “Edit” tab at the top-right corner.

Alongside, there's a “Shows &movies” part that holds the recently visited media. You can save the media with the help of the bookmark icon in the corner. Interestingly, you can see your entire watchlist via a focused shortcut.

Next comes the “Collections,” almost at the bottom down of the page that will carry your hand-made group. Tap on the ‘See your collections’  to see a tiled layout of your collection.

For shopaholics, there's a “Shopping” section that will show the dropped prices of any product you've been tracking. While the “Keep researching part will show a high level of product categories.

Following this is the “Recipes” division that links the user to the recipes bookmarked across the web via the ‘Go to cookbook’ button. The organized update is widely rolling out for both Android and iOS users.

Nokia G50 5G surfaces on Geekbench and TENNA with Snapdragon 480 SoC

There's a new smartphone by HMD Global spotted on Geekbench and TENAA. FYI, this is the same device that was accidentally posted on the company's official French account last month. However, the post was taken down later. With all these leaks and listings, we have some of the key specs and designs with us. Here's what we know about the Nokia G50 5G.

As per TENNA's listing, Nokia G50 5G will carry the model number TA-1361 featuring a 6.82-inch IPS LCD. The panel will offer an HD+ resolution measuring 173.83 x 77.68 x 8.85mm in dimension. The smartphone will weigh 220 grams in size and the fingerprint sensor will be embedded with the power button.













Further, the arrival at TENAA suggests that the device will debut in several storage configurations of 64GB/ 2GB RAM, 128GB/ 4GB RAM, 256GB/ 6GB RAM, and 512GB/ 8GB RAM. While the Geekbench listing reveals the presence of Snapdragon 480 SoC under the hood. The device will run the Android 11 operating system pre-installed.

Nokia G50 5G will be lead by a 48MP primary sensor in the optics department. On the other hand, an 8MP lens will serve selfie and video call purposes. The handset will pack a 4,850mAh battery.

Poco F3 joins the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced version update party!

Huawei Matepad 11 is receiving HarmonyOS 2.0.0.188 update

Huawei announced the Matepad 11 a couple of months back incorporated with the new HarmonyOS operating system. But it seems like users tend to face some issues. But the company is addressing them with this latest update that brings HarmonyOS 2.0.0.188 along with various improvements and fixes.

[Update: August 2021 Security Patch] Poco X2 Updates Tracker

Xiaomi packed the Poco X2 with Snapdragon 730G powered by Android 10 offering up to 256 GB storage and 8 GB RAM. The device was launched in February 2020 featuring an IPS LCD with a 6.67-inch screen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 shield. In the optics department, Poco X2 houses a quad lens consisting of a 64 MP primary sensor. At the front, it carries a dual selfie lens lead by a 20 MP shooter.

  • [May 27, 2020]: Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO’s X2 finally starts receiving the April 2020 security patch in India. The update comes with MIUI 11.0.10.0.QGHINXM and weighs around 292 MB in size. It is doesn’t have any major features other than the April security patch. Besides, it does not add any other features or changes.


As always, the update is having an incremental rollout. A set of users will start receiving the update initially. A border rollout will follow after the successful verification. Meanwhile, you can also check the update status manually by navigating to Settings > Software updates.
