Fossil latest update for Gen 5 dumps a handful of watch faces

The Fossil Gen 5 wearable users are ready to receive a new update. However, the fresh build isn't something that will excite the users as it does not bring any latest software. In fact, it eliminates almost half of its watch face options and adds only two new faces in return.

The update for the Fossil app is live on the Play Store. From the 55 variations present in the Gen 5 smartwatches, the update drops 33 out of them. This leaves the variations to less than half of the original at 22. Though the new version does add two modern faces— "Fitness Digital" and "Dashboard Digital." These changes are likely to affect all the Gen 5 models including Gen 5, Gen 5E, and Gen 5 LTE. You can install the update from Play Store and see the changes on your respective wearable. In case you were using any of the faces that are removed, the update will push back to its default appearance. Alternatively, some users are also getting a message explaining the removal as “optimization.”

Samsung sends One UI 3.1.1 update to the standard Galaxy Fold

The fresh update is rolling out in Korea and some parts of Europe via the firmware version F907NKOU3FUHB/ F907NOKR3FUHB/ OR F907NKOU3FUH5. The build weighs approximately 940MB in size and inculcates the current security maintenance, September 2021.

OnePlus Nord 2 5G pick up OxygenOS A.10 update

As per the OnePlus timeline, the Nord series are eligible to receive two major Android update alongside the three years of security updates. But the company leaves no stone unturned to send minor updates to the Nord 2 5G. In the latest news, the OnePlus Nord 2 5G is picking up the OxygenOS A.10 update.

As posted on the OnePlus community forum, the new package is rolling out in North America, India, and European markets. The Nord 2 5G variants in NA are getting updated with the DN2103_11_A.10 firmware version. While for the Indian markets, the number varies to DN2101_11_A.10. On the other hand, the European build is bundled with the version number DN2103_11_A.10​

Talking about changes, after flashing the update, the system security patch will be bumped to August 2021. Moreover, the failure of the face unlocks feature is now resolved. Alongside, your device will now consume less power while playing any mobile game, including PUBG. Also, it improves the stability of the system and the camera app.

A new Realme device surfaces on FCC with model number RMX3263

It seems that Realme is preparing another smartphone that recently made an appearance on the FCC website. The listing does not reveal the name of the device but it divulges the model number RMX3263. FYI, the smartphone was spotted on the Indian BIS site earlier.

Though the BIS listing did not leave any details or specifications leaked. But with the arrival of Realme RMX3263 on FCC, we have some design leaks with us. The smartphone will measure 164.5 mm X 76 mm in length and width respectively. While the diagonal length will be 181.2mm.

Further, the Realme RMX3263 will supposedly support 4G network connectivity. Talking about the design, the pictures reveal a quad-camera set up at the rear side. Beneath, there's a fingerprint sensor in the middle.

The device's label is located at the bottom center in a square shape. Besides the designing of the Realme RMX3263, the listing does not reveal any other major information.

Concluding that the device is listed in several online certfications, the launch seems to be imminent. Realme can possibly debut the device by the next month.

OnePlus Nord receives OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 6 update

While other OEMs are preparing their next-gen skin that will support the Android 12 operating system. OnePlus is still testing OxygenOS 11 for its previous flagships. Following its reframed timeline, OnePlus Nord is now receiving the sixth open beta for the latest stable skin.

Samsung Galaxy M52 5G spotted on FCC with model number SM-M526B

A new device by Samsung called Galaxy M52 5G has recently made an appearance on multiple certification listings and benchmark sites. Now, the device has surfaced on the FCC certification website. With the continuous listing of the device on different sites, the picture has started to become more clear.

The arrival of Galaxy M52 5G at FCC reveals the model number SM-M526B/DS depending upon the region. Alongside, the listing divulges the support of a 5G network and Wi-Fi (2.4GHz + 5GHz) connectivity.



Before this, the Galaxy M52 5G surfaced on Bluetooth SIG with SM-M526BR_DS number and Bluetooth v5.0 support. The Geekbench listing follows after. An 8GB RAM variant has made an appearance on the Geekbench powering Snapdragon 778G SoC. Moreover, it revealed that the device will run Android 11 out of the box along with One UI 3.1 skin on top.



Reportedly, the Galaxy M52 5G is tipped to feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Furthermore, in the optics department, the handset is likely to offer a 64MP triple rear camera. The other lenses could include a 12MP ultra-wide lens and a 5MP sensor to measure depth.
