The latest lineup by Xiaomi is Mi 11 and the recent arrival of the new device is likely to be the Xiaomi L3A. Reportedly, this smartphone will be a part of the Mi 12 flagship. Though the launch date or any other information is not official by the company. But the device's listing on EEC certification affirms the imminent launch.
Unfortunately, ECC certifications do not reveal major details regarding smartphones it certifies. Nevertheless, as per the recent leaks, the Mi 12 will feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED display. The panel will support a punch-hole design with Quad HD+ resolution at 1400x3200 pixels.
Under the hood, the Mi 12 is likely to power an octa-core processor-based Snapdragon 888 chipset. The storage configuration will supposedly be 128GB paired with 8GB of RAM. Further, a 5,000 mAh battery could back up the device over a USB Type C port and it will support wireless charging as well. On the security end, biometric will offer an on-screen fingerprint sensor and face unlocking.
In the optics department, the Xiaomi Mi 12 will probably carry a quad rear camera lead by a 108MP primary sensor. The other lenses could include a 13MP ultra-wide cam, 8MP telephoto snapper, and 5MP sensor to measure depth. On the other side, the punch-hole cutout could house a 32MP selfie snapper.
