Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 grabs a new update, improving its stability

The Galaxy Buds 2 has proven to be the best earbuds by Samsung so far. And the company is in no way jeopardizing it. After releasing a couple of updates last month, Samsung is again pushing another update to the Galaxy Buds 2 to polish the user seamless experience.

The fresh update for Galaxy Buds 2 arrives on the firmware version R177XXU0AUI9 weighing less than 3MB in size. As you might have guessed, the build is not major, it enhances the system stability and optimizes the system performance. That implies after flashing the update, the user will not have to face any issue in case they were experiencing it earlier.

As of now, the update is rolling out in South Korea as mentioned by Samsung. Though it's not going to take much time to reach other countries. If you are a Galaxy Buds 2 owner, you can manually check for the firmware via the Wearable app on your connected smartphone.

Realme 3 Pro picks up Android 11 stable update with Realme UI 2.0

While Android 12 could launch any time sooner, Realme is still not done releasing the latest stable operating system to its flagships. The 2019 launched Realme 3 pro is finally receiving the stable Android 11 update based on Realme UI 2.0.

Motorola introduces a new mid-ranger in India: Moto E40

It seems the Lenovo-owned company is more into the budget segment of smartphones. Last week, a handful of entry-level devices were announced by Motorola, including the Moto E40. The handset has finally made its way to Inidan users, and here is what it offers.

On the display part, the Moto E40 features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD HD+ display with a punch-hole display. The panel offers a 90Hz refresh rate, 720 x 1600 pixels resolution, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Further, the body is made of plastic which is splash resistance with IP52 certification.

Motorola Moto E40 draws power from UNISOC T700 SoC. The device comes in a single storage option of 64GB and 4GB RAM which is expandable via a MicroSD card slot. It boosts Android 11 out of the box tossed with Motorola’s My UX UI on top.

In the optics department, Moto E40 carries a triple rear camera lead by a 48MP primary snapper. The other lenses include a couple of 2MP macro sensors to measure macro and depth aspects. While an 8MP front-facing shooter serves video calls and selfies.

The Moto E40 packs a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 10W charging over a USB Type-C port. On the connectivity front, it offers all that we expect from an entry-level device. This includes dual-SIM, 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GNSS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Also, there's a dedicated Google Assistant key, and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security purposes.

Motorola Moto E40 is launched in two color variants— Carbon Gray, Pink Clay. The smartphone costs INR 9,499 and will go on sale from October 17 at noon via Flipkart.

Xiaomi sends a major update to Mi 11 Ultra with August 2021 Security Patch

Xiaomi is releasing another update for the Mi 11 Ultra. This time, the package adds the August 2021 security patch. Except for enhancing security, it carries a variety of bug fixes that polishes the overall user experience.

The latest update for the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is rolling out globally on the firmware version V12.5.6.0.RKAMIXM. The package is based on Android 11 weighing less than 6GB in size.

[Update: September 2021 Security Patch] Realme C3 Updates Tracker

In February 2020, Realme has officially launched the Realme C3 smartphone. The device features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with Android 10 based Realme UI underneath. An octa-core processor-based Mediatek Helio G70 Chipset runs the device paired with up to 64GB of storage and 4GB RAM. All about Oppo ColorOS 12- release date, features, and more

The ColorOS 12 rollout will begin in December 2021. As the Find X3 Pro was the first device to join the public beta for the new skin. It will also be the first one to get a stable update. While the rest of the handsets will begin grabbing the update in early 2022. The company says it will update 110 smartphones by the end of next year.

Linguistic UI


Oppo is making ColorOS 12 inclusive for different regions and languages. That implies different languages will fit naturally in the app with the adjustments in spaces and design. Moreover, the translations are now more accurate especially Dutch and Russian. It offers around 67 languages that will automatically adapt to the new UI.

Visual Overhaul


Needless to say, the new skin brings new visuals. Oppo has adopted the Infinite Design concept, introducing redesigned icons, avatar emoji, animations, etc. The icons will have a subtle squircle-shaped 3D look making them leaner. Additionally, they are also customizable in shape, size, and color.

PC Connect


With the PC connect feature, you can connect your phone to your desktop and use it to control your phone. With a sight upper version of ColorOS 12, the user will have to install the app on your PC and connect wirelessly.

Background theming


Just like Android 12, ColorOS 12 also changes the prominent color of your UI while changing the wallpaper. Also, you can choose the color theme (up to four colors) from the current wallpaper in the customization screen and apply it as a theme

Battery Dashboard


With a battery dashboard, the user can see the details of power consumed throughout the day. This option further includes a single tap power saving button and other quick options— disabling background activities, enabling auto-brightness, disabling high-performance mode, disabling 5G, disabling 120 Hz/90 Hz refresh rate, disabling GPS, setting the auto screen-off time to 30s, disabling edge lighting, and more.

Colour Enhancement


To make the user experience more vital, a new option in the display calibration menu allows you to create your custom color profile. To activate a feature, you just need to go through a simple color vision test. The test will access how you see colors based on your answers and determine the need for the feature.

Smoother performance


One of the important yet least noticed change is the smoothness of the software. As claimed by Oppo, it takes 30% less memory than the present skin and increases the battery life by 20%. ColorOS 12 will come equipped with Oppo’s new anti-stutter AI engine that can reduce the generation of fragments by processing cold and hot data separately.

Motorola Moto G51 arrives at Geekbench with Snapdragon 750G SoC

The smartphone recently appeared on the Geekbench website revealing some of its key specs. Here is what we know about the successor variant.

The Motorola Moto G1 has managed to score 543 in the single-core test while the points for multi-core tests stand at 1675. Further, the arrival of the device here divulges the key details about the processor and operating system.

As per the listing, the Motorola G1 will boost Android 11 onboard paired with 4 GB RAM. Though we can expect an upper variant with 6 GB RAM as well. Under the hood, the device will equip Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC. The chipset will draw power from an octa-core processor and Adreno 619 GPU.

Except for the above-mentioned details, the full specification of the Motorola Moto G51 5G is still unknown. Only some partial details were revealed via the Geekbench listing. Also, Motorola is yet to confirm the specs of the device.
