Stable One UI 4.0 update released for Galaxy S21 series

The Galaxy S21 series by Samsung is under the Android 12 based One UI 4.0 beta program for almost a month now. Today, the Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra are finally leaving the beta stage as the stable update of the latest customized skin has started rolling out worldwide.

Yesterday, Samsung accidentally pushed the timeline for the stable One UI 4.0 rollout on the Samsung Members app. But as the post was later deleted, we were not sure if the schedule was finalized. But, looks like it was for Galaxy S21 as it mentioned the stable build for the series this month.

Keep in note that Samsung did not mention any particular region for where the update will start rolling out. But, it will probably be its home country Korea. Though the build will gradually extend to more regions in the upcoming weeks. The users have to keep patience till that time. “We are committed to giving everyone access to the best mobile experiences possible, as soon as possible,” says Samsung.

Talking about the features, the One UI 4.0 will allow you to create a customized mobile experience, making it more expressive, dynamic, and personal. It arrives with new Color Palettes, redesigned widgets, a variety of emoji features, GIFs, and stickers on Samsung Keyboard, a new privacy dashboard that alerts you when an app is accessing a camera or microphone, and a whole lot more.

Download OnePlus Theme Store Version v8.1.5

As revealed by the official OnePlus forum thread, the company has prepared a dedicated theme store with the OxygenOS 12 update. However, there aren’t many confirmed specifics about the theme store as of now. But as the name suggests, it will allow users to modify, adjust, and configure their smartphones the way they want.

Though the concept of an Android device’s theme store is not new. But, OnePlus is joining the list after a long time. The company already provides one of the smoothest and best-optimized interfaces. The new theme store will serve as the icing on the cake.



“We’re bringing back the online OEF with a brand-new topic: Theme Store. An unfamiliar topic to you, as you may have tried custom themes or wallpapers downloaded from other theme stores before. In fact, this is a much-requested feature,” says OnePlus.

Samsung reveals One UI 4.0 update plan; later deleted

Last month, Samsung initiated the One UI 4.0 beta for the Galaxy S21 series. And now the program has extended to more devices including Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 20, and the new Galaxy Z Foldables. While more smartphones are yet to join the beta group, a new post on the Samsung Members app reveals the timeline for the stable One UI 4.0 update.

It seems that Samsung accidentally posted an update detailing the stable One UI 4.0 rollout schedule for some of its devices. As per the notice pushed on the Samsung Members app, the Galaxy S21 series will be the first one to join the stable One UI 4.0 list (well, that was obvious). While next month is set for the other beta-occupied smartphones— Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Z fold 3, and Galaxy Z Flip 3.

Heading to the next year, January 2022 will be packed with the older flagships. This includes the Galaxy S10 series, Galaxy Note 10 series, and the original Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip. Additionally, some mid-rangers like Galaxy A52s 5G, Galaxy A42 5G are also a part of the Jan update. The list goes up till July mentioning some of the handsets. However, Samsung deleted this list soon after publishing, maybe the plan is not polished yet. Also, the list is missing several devices. Samsung Galaxy A03 hit Bluetooth SIG, hinting at an imminent launch

This year in August, Samsung introduced an entry-level A-series smartphone— Galaxy A03s. Now, we can soon see the standard Galaxy A03 as the device has started to hit online certifications. The smartphone is spotted on Bluetooth SIG, hinting at an imminent launch. However, there is no official word from the company yet.

The Bluetooth SIG website reveals the model number SM-A035F for the international variants of Samsung Galaxy A03. The listing further divulges the support of Bluetooth 5.2 standards. Besides, it does not disclose any other significant information about the budget smartphone.



However, the Galaxy A03 was leaked recently leaving some of its key specifications behind. Regarding the design, as per the leaked images, the power and volume buttons are placed on the right edge of the device. At the bottom, there's a USB Type-C port alongside the 3.5mm headphone jack and the speaker grille. On the other side, triple camera sensors are used in a square-shaped module with an LED flash.

On the security front, there is no fingerprint scanner on the rear panel or the side frame. Thus, it could be embedded in the screen. Further, the Galaxy A03 is likely to arrive in a 3GB RAM model packing a 5000 mAh battery supporting 10W of charging.



As mentioned, Samsung has not disclosed any details regarding the official launch date and price of the Galaxy A03. But as the device has now started to emerge online, the rest of the specs could be out soon!

This time, Samsung has decided to introduce the Galaxy Tab A8 (2021) in both LTE and Wi-Fi variants. The model spotted on FCC is the LTE version of the device, while the Wi-Fi variant will bear the model number SM-X200. The arrival of the device on FCC majorly reveals the charging details.

According to FCC, the Galaxy Tab A8 (2021) will pack an AE15-27 battery and an EP-TA50UWE charging adapter out of the box paired with an EP-DR140AWEUSB Type-C charging cable.

Xiaomi releases MIUI 12.5.8 update to Redmi Note 11 Pro & Pro+

The latest update for the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ is bundled with the firmware version 12.5.8.0.RKTCNXM weighing 239MB in size. The major addition of the update is the "atomic memory" which actually is a part of the MIUI 12.5 enhanced version.

Talking about Atomic memory, the function provides an ultra-fine memory management mechanism that will make RAM usage more efficient. To be more precise, it splits application memory and ends additional processes according to usage scenarios. Ultimately, this helps to improve the available memory and background resident ability thus, offering a seamless experience.

Google fixes the ghost-dialing problem in Pixel 6

Last month, Google released the Pixel 6 series with is claimed to be the best in a long time. The lineup features a new design, an astonishing camera, a dynamic theme based on Android 12, and much more. But as we know, nothing is perfect. So is the case with Pixel 6, the device seems to have some issues like a slow fingerprint scanner, ghost-dialing, and a few more. Finally, Google has started addressing the problems as the latter one is getting a fix.

Lately, some Pixel 6 users were reporting that their smartphone would light up anytime and say that it’s calling XYZ (a random person from the contact list). The scene was happening at different times with different contacts, all by itself. Eventually, more users with a similar problem were joining the discussion. However, the issue got major when other Pixel devices users also reported the same issue. Some Pixel 3a and Pixel 4a users also started complaining about the ghost calling. But Google has finally looked into the matter and resolved it.

According to the Pixel community manager, the ghost dialing problem will be smashed once the user updates the Gooogle app to the latest version 12.43.18 or higher. That means you can now toggle on the Google Assistant without worrying that it might call random people on your contacts list.

Samsung Galaxy A13 5G hits FCC with 15W of fast charging support

Almost after a year, Samsung is planning to introduce a successor of the last year released budget smartphone, Galaxy A12. Reportedly, the new Galaxy A13 has visited the FCC authority in the US, hinting at an imminent launch. Also, the listing reveals some details that you can read below.

According to the FCC listing, the Galaxy A13 will bear the model number SM-A136U. While there are other models number spotted, SM-A136U1 and SM-A136DL which are also associated with the phone.

Moreover, the arrival of Galaxy A13 on FCC discloses its charging capacity and measurements. The smartphone will measure 164.5 x 76.5 x 8.9mm in dimensions. Plus, it will support 15W of fast charging.



As per the leaks, the Galaxy A13 5G will feature a Full HD+ resolution panel with a 6.48-inch IPS LCD. It could offer storage up to 128GB while the RAM is hinted to go up to 8GB. Under the hood, the device is likely to draw power from Dimensity 700 chipset. On the software front, it is tipped to boost Android 11 based One UI 3.1 out of the box.

In the optics section, Galaxy A13 is suggested to arrive with a 50MP triple rear camera and an 8MP single front-facing lens. The other specs could include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 5000 mAh battery.

Samsung is expected to launch Galaxy A13 in four color variants of black, white, blue, and orange. To mention, the device is likely to launch this month for around $250.
