June 2021 launched Pixel Buds A series by Google are receiving their second software update. While the previous build only fixes a volume bug. This one arrives with new features and capabilities alongside the latest Pixel Feature Drop.

Starting with, the latest update for the Pixel Buds A-Series adds a new slider in the companion Pixel Buds app. This feature will enable you to adjust the bass from -1 to +4 under the settings section. As per Google, this provides the users access to “twice the bass range” on devices operating Android 6.0 or above.
Additionally, there's also a new toggle under the Sound settings called “Loudness compensation.” Once enabled, this feature will help you to improve bass and to tune, improve, and treble it at low volume levels.
Moreover, the version intends to improve the device switching ability of Pixel Buds A-Series. Google says that it will allow users to “search and connect to the second to last connected device when undocked from the charging case if the last connected host device is unavailable.”
Lastly, no update goes without general bug fixes and stability improvements. All in all, if you own these TWS earbuds, you will experience some user-facing improvements.
The latest update for the Google Pixel Buds A-Series will arrive as the firmware update version 3.223.0. It has started rolling out in batches and will reach all users in around a week. To mention, the update is not available for the Pixel Buds 2nd gen.
