Poco F3 GT get MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition update in India

This year in July, Xiaomi unveiled the Poco F3 GT powering Android 11 along with MIUI 12.5 on top out of the box. Months after the partner device— Poco F3, the smartphone is the latest one to join the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition update list.

As of now, the latest update for the Poco F3 GT is rolling out in India and can be identified by the firmware version V12.5.7.0.RKJINXM. Hopefully, it will extend to more regions in the coming weeks.

Concerning changes, the changelog mentions five optimizations that ensure smooth users experience and swift performance. It includes swift performance, focused calculations, atomic memory, liquid storage, and intelligent balance. Moreover, According to a survey, Xiaomi addresses 160 system header issues and 224 system application issues with the MIUI 12.5 enhanced version.

  • [December 13, 2021]: The Huawei Enjoy 10S smartphone is receiving a new update that adds December 2021 security patch. The package is rolling out to the devices with model numbers AQM-AL00 and AQM-TL00 on firmware version 2.0.0.15 and 2.0.0.186/196/212 respectively. Besides upgrading security, the build brings some other changes as well that are listed below.

Buggy OxygenOS 12 update for OnePlus 9 & 9 Pro gets pulled out

Last week, the stable OxygenOS 12 update was released for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. However, along with the extensive features, users reported a plethora of bugs onboard soon after flashing the update. Now, the company has temporarily pulled back the Android 12 based package.

To recall, the same incidence occurred with the Android 12 beta rollout for the OnePlus 9 series. The update was given a halt shortly after the users reported their glitches and concerns.

“We are aware of the issues created by the OxygenOS 12 update, and our software team is working to resolve them, this software update will be paused, and a fresh iteration will be released as soon as possible,” says OnePlus.


As per some reports, the switching from OxygenOS to ColorOS codebase is the reason for this buggy update. A majority of the issues are because various settings are not transitioning properly after the new update.

For now, the OnePlus software team is working to resolve these issues. Till then, the Android 12 based OxygenOS 12 update for the OnePlus 9 duo will remain suspended. A fresh iteration will be released soon after the glitches are taken care of.

Leak: Galaxy S21 FE Specification, Price, and Design

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is the subject of many leaks and rumors for months now. Although it was supposed to debut in August. However, the production got delayed to Jan 2022 due to some technical reasons. But again, the device's specifications have leaked online. Here's the latest story.

Reportedly, the Galaxy S21 FE will resemble its predecessor— Galaxy S20 FE. They will only differ in terms of processors and display protection. As per the leaks, Galaxy S21 FE will equip Snapdragon 888 SoC or an Exynos 2100 SoC, depending upon the market. Also, Samsung is said to provide Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection to the upcoming smartphone.

Moreover, it was recently suggested that the Galaxy S21 FE will boost Android 12 based One UI 4.0 out of the box. In this case, unlike Galaxy S21 series, the device will have access to Android 13, 14, and 15 when they become available.

As said, the rest of the specifications are similar to the Galaxy S20 FE. It includes a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, up to 256GB/ 8GB RAM storage, 12 MP triple rear camera, 4500mAh battery with 25W wired fast charging support, and 15W wireless fast charging support.

According to some tipsters, the Galaxy S21 FE will cost around $699 (approximately ₹53,000). Also, the phone could debut next month in four color variants— Black, Green, Pink, and White. Additionally, Samsung has shown the smartphone in Premium Clear, Silicone, and Clear Standing Rugged covers on its Colombian website.

Moto G51 5G launched in India with Snapdragon 480+ SoC at ₹14,999

Last month, Motorola introduced five of its next-generation Moto G series. Out of which, one smartphone, Moto G31 has already made it to the Indian market. Following this in the country is the Moto G51 5G. The company will sell the smartphone in two color variants— Indigo Blue and Bright Silver via Flipkart and other e-commerce websites for ₹14,999.

Moto G51 5G will feature a 6.8inch FHD+ IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The panel measures 170 x 77 x 9 mm in dimensions and weighs 208 grams. Also, it is IP 52 certified and offers a 20:9 aspect ratio. The device comes fitted with a 3.5mm audio jack, bottom-firing speakers, and dual microphones.

The Moto G51 5G draws power from Snapdragon 480+ SoC based on Kyro 460 CPU and a Kyro 619 GPU. FYI, it is the country’s first device to run this chipset. The device is equipped with 12 global 5G bands paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. On the software front, it boosts Android 11 out of the box with an expandable memory option via a microSD card.

For vibrant pictures, the rear side carries a triple camera module while you can take selfies from a 13MP front-facing snapper. The rear sensors include a 50MP primary lens, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 2MP depth camera alongside an LED flash.

A 5,000mAh battery will back up the screen light with the help of up to 20W of fast charging. For connectivity, it has 5G SA/ NSA, 4G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, and USB Type-C charging on board. To keep the phone out of harm's way, it has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and ThinkShield for Mobile security technology.
