Recently, WhatsApp made a tweet highlighting how annoying it can be to delete and re-record a messed-up voice clip. Though it can still happen. But this time, you don't have to delete the message after sending it. Now, you can listen to your recording before sending it so you can make sure of the accuracy of the clip.

https://twitter.com/WhatsApp/status/1470801332118474758

The feature is rather handy than immediately deleting the flawed voice note after it’s been sent. To record your voice message, hold down on the microphone button and then swipe up to enter hands-free recording mode. Once you’re done recording, the app will show you a play button, hitting which you can listen to the voice memo.

Other social networking apps like Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat also let users lock the microphone to record effortlessly. However, none of these apps allows the user to preview the recording before sending it.

This is an addition to the list of features WhatsApp introduced this year. The other traits are message reaction, multi-device support, new privacy control feature, and many more.
