Three more Galaxy devices get Android 12 based One UI 4.0

Samsung is totally on fire! The company is ahead of all the other OEMs, including Google, in terms of updating its flagships. This time, the Korean giant is upgrading three of its flagships— Galaxy Note 10 Lite, Verizon Galaxy Note 20, and Galaxy A72.

Talking about the Galaxy Note 10 Lite, the new package is currently rolling out in France via firmware version N770FXXU8FUL7. Whereas, the Verizon-based Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra are receiving the update in the USA. The update arrives with firmware version N981USQU2EULE and N986USQU2EULE respectively for both devices. For the Galaxy A72, the build is unfurling in Russia bundled with the A725FXXU4BULA version.

Along with revamped UI, Color Palette feature, improved AOD, new widgets, enhanced privacy, security, and several other accessibility features of Android 12 and One UI 4.0, the update will inculcate the current security maintenance, January 2022 to the Galaxy Note 10 Lite. However, the Verizon Galaxy Note 20 series and Galaxy A72 are upgrading with December 2021 security patch, which is not bad either!

If you are a Galaxy Note 10 Lite, Verizon Galaxy Note 20, or Galaxy A72 user in any of the respective countries, you will receive the update as on OTA. Therefore, you may have to wait a while to experience the new OS. Meanwhile, you can also head to Settings > Software Update > Download and install to flash the software manually.

OnePlus 10 Pro specifications confirmed officially!

OnePlus 10 flagship is just a few days away from launch. Recently, a leak revealed some of the key details of the top-tier model, the OnePlus 10 Pro. Now, OnePlus co-founder and Chief Product Officer for OPPO, Pete Lau has announced all the major specs of the device.

Pete Lau shared that the OnePlus 10 Pro will feature an AMOLED LTPO panel with second-generation LTPO calibration. However, the screen size is not revealed. But the leaks suggest that the device will sport a 6.7-inch curved edge display with a punch-hole design. Further, the panel will offer a 120Hz refresh rate.

In the optics department, the OnePlus 10 Pro will house a single 32MP front camera. On the other side, it will carry a triple camera unit with dual OIS support. It equips a 48 MP + 50 MP + 8 MP second-generation Hasselblad sensors.

Coming to the hardware, the OnePlus 10 Pro will run the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. On the software front, it will boost Android 12 OS along with OxygenOS 12 on top. Whereas, the Chinese edition could run on ColorOS 12.

The OnePlus 10 Pro will ship with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 80W SuperVOOC wired charging and 50W AirVOOC wireless charging. Also, it has support for reverse wireless charging. The other features include a VoLTE, VoWiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, X-axis linear motor, and dual stereo speakers.

The smartphone will launch on January 11 in China. However, there are no official words for the global launch. But reports suggest it could be debut near March or April.

The updates are rolling out in a phase-wise manner. Accordingly, the users may have to wait a while to get the build. You can also check the update status manually by heading over to Settings > Software updates > Check for the updates. Also, we suggest you switch over to a WiFi network to avoid carrier data charges.

Official Android 12 update rolling out for Galaxy Note 20

Samsung is on a roll for weeks! The company has widely released the Android 12 update to a bunch of its flagships. Starting from the Galaxy S21 lineup, the operating system is now rolling out to the Galaxy Note 20 series.

Presently, the package is rolling out for the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra in the Netherlands and Belgium. Hopefully, it will extend to more regions over the next few days. The package is bundled with the firmware version N98**XXS3EULF.

Along with Android 12, it packs Samsung's latest skin iteration One UI 4.0. Moreover, it adds a mon old security maintenance, December 2021 patch. After flashing the update, you will get a lot of new features, a revamped UI design, and enhanced privacy and security. Also, the major attraction is the Material You-inspired Color Palette feature that extracts colors from the wallpaper and applies it all over the software.

Nokia G50 receives stable Android 12 update in Finland

Samsung finally announced Galaxy S21 FE globally!

Samsung was supposed to launch the Galaxy S21 FE last year alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3. However, the technical issues made us wait for a long time. Samsung Galaxy S21 FE features a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel offers a Full HD+ resolution and a punch-hole cutout at the center. The smartphone will arrive in three storage variants starting with 128GB and 6GB RAM. The other configurations are 128GB and 256GB paired with 8GB RAM.



Under the hood, the Galaxy S21 FE will draw power from Snapdragon 888 chipset. For the European markets, the smartphone will run on Exynos 2100 processor. On the software front, the phone will operate on Android 12 OS out of the box with One UI 4.0 skin on top.


For shooting purposes, the Galaxy S21 FE will house a triple camera setup consisting of a 12MP ultra-wide camera, a 12MP secondary lens, and an 8MP telephoto sensor. Vivo X70 Pro+ gets stable FunTouch OS 12 update based on Android 12

Vivo X70 Pro+ was launched in September 2021 with Android 11 preinstalled. After three months, the device is receiving its first and major software update. The build upgrades the OS version to Android 12 along with the FuntouchOS 12 customized skin on top.

As of now, the Android 12 x FunTouchOS 12 update is rolling out in India bundled with the firmware version PDA2145F_EX_36.8.20 weighing 5.86GB to download. The package will expand to more regions in the next few days after ensuring the absence of any critical bugs.
