Xiaomi Mi 10S receives stable MIUI 13 update in China

Last week, Xiaomi started releasing its next-gen skin iteration based on Android 12. Starting with the Mi 11 series, the MIUI 13 has reached multiple devices so far. In the latest news, the package is now hitting the Xiaomi Mi 10S in China.

The latest Android 12 MIUI 13 update for the Xiaomi Mi 10S is presently rolling out in China. After downloading the 4.7GB package, the device's firmware version will upgrade to V13.0.1.0.SGACNXM.

Keep in note that the build is currently under the “Stable Beta” phase. That means, as of now, it is only available for testers who are part of the beta program. Once they successfully test the software and ensure the absence of critical bugs, it will start rolling out to general users incrementally. If everything goes right, the update is expected to roll out for regular users by the end of this month.

Android 12 rolling out for Galaxy A52s 5G in Europe

A couple of days ago, the Korean units of Galaxy A52s got updated with a similar package. Now, it is reaching out in the European countries bundled with firmware version A528BXXU1BUL7. Precisely, it is rolling out in France, Luxembourg, Poland, and Switzerland. The software will extend to more regions in the coming weeks.

Nubia Red Magic 7 spotted on Geekbench: Features Snapdragon 8 Gen 1

Nubia's gaming smartphone series, Red Magic is going to launch another smartphone soon. The device has been listed on several certification sites and recently it was spotted on Geekbench too. The listing confirmed Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 as the core for the device along with the scores. Also, the listing reveals many key specs about the device.



The new Nubia Red Magic is listed with model number NX679J, it will be called Red Magic 7. It comes with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset which scores 1219 in the single-core and 3732 in the multicore test for the device. The Nubia Red Magic is a gaming-centric smartphone and the presence of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is the best chipset for the top performance.

Recently, the device was also listed on Bluetooth SIG certification confirming Bluetooth V5.2 support on the device. The Nubia Red Magic will rock a 165 Hz OLED display which will be a delight for the gamers. As the device is launching in 2022, it might feature Android 12 out of the box.



The most amazing feature of the new Nubia Red Magic 7 is the RAM. The device features 18 GB of RAM, which is too much on a smartphone. In the battery department, the capacity of the device is still unknown, however, it will feature fast charging support of 165 W. Details about the cameras are still unknown, So, most likely it will feature a 64 MP  triple camera setup just like its predecessor.

There are still many features unknown about the device. However, everything will come out as soon as the device goes for other certifications. Nothing official is announced by the company yet, but soon they might announce the launch date for the device.

OnePlus 10 Pro appears on BIS; India launch seems imminent

The Chinese giant recently announced the OnePlus 10 Pro in the home country. It seems that the smartphone could soon make its debut in India. The device has bagged one of the important certifications from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).

The OnePlus 10 Pro will feature a punch-hole design with a 6.78-inch curved edge AMOLED display. The panel offers a 120Hz refresh rate, an in-screen fingerprint scanner, a QHD+ resolution, and a Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

In the optics department, the OnePlus 10 Pro will house a single 32MP front camera. On the other side, it will carry a triple camera unit with dual OIS support and 3x zoom. In addition, the OnePlus 10 Pro will ship with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. The device could launch a couple of weeks after the OnePlus 9RT, which is set to debut on January 14.
