Along with Nokia G21, the HMD Global also unveiled the Nokia G11 in Europe. The devices share a similar design with a minor difference in specifications. As the name indicates, Nokia G11 succeeds the last year launched Nokia G10 smartphone.
The Nokia G11 is built around a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen holding a teardrop notch at the top center. The panel offers a 90Hz refresh rate, a 180Hz touch sampling rate, an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. For security, it has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a face unlock feature that works even when wearing a mask.
For shooting purposes, Nokia G11 carries a triple rear camera island led by a 13 MP primary unit. The other lenses include a couple of 2 MP sensors to measure depth and macro aspects. On the other side, the device houses an 8 MP front snapper to serve selfies and video calls.
Under the helm, the Nokia G11 runs the Unisoc T606 chipset paired with 3 GB RAM. The phone arrives in a single storage variant of 32 GB. Further, it boosts
Android 11 OS out of the box. To mention, it is eligible to receive two major Android updates and three years of security updates.
In addition, the Nokia G11 ships with a 5,050 mAh battery and a 10W charger. Though it does support 18W charging as well. The other features include dual SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, USB-C, a Google Assistant key, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Availability and Price
The Nokia G11 is available in two color options: Charcoal and Ice. It costs £119 (~$161) in the U.K. The smartphone could debut in other markets soon.
