The Oppo Reno 3 and Oppo Reno 3 Pro users can taste the new features of Android 12 along with a tweak of ColorOS 12 before its official release. The beta program is rolling out in India and Indonesia, while it could soon be extended to more regions as well.
Interested users can register themselves from April 26 to April 30. Although, the company is recruiting only 5,000 applicants for the handsets in each region. Therefore, apply soon so you can be an early applicant.
Prior to registering, make sure that your respective smartphone operates the basic version which is C.23 and C.24. Thereafter, follow the below step for registration:
- Head to Settings > Software Update
- Click on the Gear Icon at the top right corner
- Tap on Apply for Beta Version > Update Beta Version
- Follow the on-screen instructions and click submit
After the company reviews your application, the selected applicants will receive the beta software within 3 working days. In case you are not selected in the first batch, kindly wait for the next round of recruitment (if there’s any). In addition, it could take a couple of months to roll out the stable version for the devices.
Lastly, keep in mind that the beta build could carry a lot of bugs and glitches that can hinder the user experience. Also, we recommend you take a backup of your important files to avoid data loss.
