Galaxy Tab S6 Lite appears on multiple certifications, launch imminent

A couple of months back, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Tab S8 series. Reportedly, the tech giant is now working on a new model of Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. Ahead of any official announcement, the tablet has been spotted on Bluetooth SIG certification, as well as on the Geekbench database, and on the company’s France website support page.

To recall, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite was launched back in April 2020. Now, the comapny is working to improve and upgrade the model and here is what we know about the device.

According to the Bluetooth SIG certification, the new model of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite bears the model numbers SM-P613 and SM-P619. Also, it reveals that both versions will come with support for Bluetooth 5.0.



In addition, Galaxy Tab S6 Lite with model number SM-P619 has also made an appearance on the Geekbench benchmarkign website. The tab has managed to score 555 points in the single-core and 1685 runs in the multi-core test. The portal reveals that the tab will power an octa-core chipset by Qualcomm. This could possibly be the Snapdragon 720G processor integrated with Adreno 618 GPU.

Moreover, the website confirms a 4GB RAM model. Although we expect the company to launch the tab in other configurations as well. On the software front, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite will come pre-installed with Android 12 OS.

Furthermore, as mentioned before, the tab was also spotted on the Samsung’s France support page, hinting at an approaching launch. Besides, the Galaxy Tab S6 Litecould offer an HD+ resolution with 800 x 1334 pixels as hinted by the HTML5.

The Lenovo-owned company has not confirmed any details about the Moto G82. However, the device is expected to debut soon in the market. As per the leaks, the smartphone is tipped to power the Snapdragon 695 SoC under the hood paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of default storage.

At the front, the Moto G82 is likely to feature a 6.55-inch Full HD+ POLED display. The panel can offer a 402ppi pixel density, a 120Hz screen refresh rate, and about 88% screen-to-body ratio. On the software front, the smartphone can come pre-installed with Android 12 OS tossed with MyUX custom Android skin on top.

• [May 3, 2022]: Samsung is releasing the May 2022 security patch to the Galaxy M33 with firmware version M336BXXU2AVD5. The build is rolling out in Ukraine and Russia, while it will soon be available for more regions as well. Android Auto 7.6 update is rolling out with minor improvements

Android Auto 7.6 arrived a month after the Android Auto 7.5 update. Although the new version started rolling out last week, but the wider rollout to all users was initiated this week. As far as modifications are concerned, the build number signifies that this is a minor upgrade. A major bump will be considered in versions like 8.0, whereas, versions like 0.1 are on the minor side.

Unfortunately, Android Auto 7.6 does not deliver the next redesign we expect from the “Coolwalk” update. However, it does bring minor bug fixes related to apps like Google Assistant, and other shares of the Android Auto experience. Precisely, glitches with voice call routing to the wrong device and “something went wrong” response has been taken care of.

In addition, the new build is likely to pack the smart replies feature that was available for beta users last week. FYI, this feature will read aloud the message when you tap on the notification. OnePlus Nord 2T 5G gets NBTC certification, launch approaching

The NBTC certification database confirms the model number CPH2399 for the Nord 2T. The smartphone is expected to be a minor upgrade over the OnePlus Nord 2. To recall, the same model was also spotted on multiple certifications, revealing some of the key details. Here is what we know about the handset so far.

At the front, the device will feature a 6.43-inch Full HD+ fluid AMOLED display. The panel will offer a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout at the top left corner. Underneath, an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor powers the device integrated with Mali G77 GPU.

As always, the May 2022 security patch does not bring any visible or significant changes. However, it does address a bunch of bugs and security issues present in the current version. Talking about the compatible phones, it covers Pixel 3a, Pixel 3a XL, Pixel 4, Pixel 4 XL, Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 5, Pixel 5a, Pixel 6, and Pixel 6 Pro.

Concerning changes, the update for the Pixel smartphones resolves a handful of high and moderate severity vulnerabilities and two severe security flaws. Most importantly, it identifies the code CVE-2022-0847 known as Dirty Pipe. FYI, it is an exposure of the Linux kernel which can provide an attacker complete control of your device. Reportedly, a Vivo phone with model numbers V2203A and V2207A was spotted on the TENAA website. This could be a possible Vivo S15 Pro and Vivo S15e, respectively. In that case, the database reveals some specifications, including display, battery, operating system, and more.

The Vivo S15 Pro will feature a 6.56-inch display measuring 161.09 x 74.31 x 7.99 in dimensions. The panel will be lightened up by a 4,400mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging. In addition, a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC is likely to fuel the device under the hood.
