Moto Edge 2022 leaked, tipped to offer 6.5-inch display, 5,000 mAh battery, and more

A few months back, Motorola officially launched the Moto Edge+ (2022) smartphone. However, the vanilla model is still awaited and is expected to make its debut in Q3 2022. In the meantime, the Moto Edge 2022 has leaked ahead of its launch. Although as always, there are no official words from the company.

About the design, the leaks claim that the Moto Edge 2022 will carry a triple rear camera setup on the back and a punch-hole design at the front top center. In addition, the smartphone could feature a flat back with slightly curved edges. Also, the power button and volume rockers may be placed on the right edge.

According to the leaks, the Moto Edge 2022 will sport a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ POLED display. The panel could offer a screen resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the helm, the device is tipped to power a MediaTek Dimensity MT6879 SoC paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256 of internal storage.

For optics, the upcoming Moto Edge 2022 is likely to carry a triple camera setup led by a 50MP primary lens. Accompanying this could be a 13MP wide shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. Moreover, a 32MP snapper can serve selfies and video calls.

Furthermore, the other specifications might include a speaker grille, microphone, a SIM tray, and 160.8mm x 74.2mm x 8.2mm in dimensions. Unfortunately, there is no official confirmation about the device and its launch date.

To recall, the Poco C40 was listed on the NBTC database with model number 220333QPG. In terms of design, the upcoming phone is said to be similar to the Redmi 10C (known as Redmi 10 in India). The leaked picture reveals that the device will flaunt a waterdrop notch bezel-less display with a sizeable chin.

On the back, the Poco C40 will carry a square-shaped camera module, a fingerprint scanner, and a typical Poco logo. On the other side, the entry-level phone will be built around a  6.71-inch screen as confirmed by Poco. The company also mentioned that the device will ship with a 6,000 mAh battery unit.

For optics, the Poco C40 is likely to offer a 5MP camera for selfies and video calls. On the other side, the phone is tipped to carry a dual-rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary snapper and a 2MP AI sensor.



As per the leaks, the Poco C40 will power an entry-level quad-core processor – JLQ510. On the software front, the handset will come pre-installed with Android 11 OS. In addition, it will support an 18W of fast charging. However, the company could provide a 10W charger out of the box.

Lastly, the leaks say that the Poco C40 will cost $177 for its sole 4GB + 64GB storage configuration. In addition, the rendered pictures show the phone in three color variants: Green, Black, and Poco Yellow.

  5. Finally, select the “use as album cover” option to use the picture as the album cover.

Oppo A77 5G with Dimensity 810 SoC, 5,000 mAh battery, and more launched

Oppo has unveiled a new A-series smartphone in Thailand: Oppo A77 5G. The smartphone was leaked recently, revealing its key specifications. Here's a detailed look at the latest budget smartphone by Oppo.

Oppo A77 5G flaunts a Glow design which is claimed to be scratch and wear-resistant. The device is built around a 6.56-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The panel offers a 720 x 1,612 pixels resolution, a 269 PPI, 600 nits of peak brightness, and 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut.

Under the helm, an octa-core processor based on MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC powers the Oppo A77 5G. The chipset is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. Also, the user can expand the RAM up to 5GB using the virtual memory expansion feature.

For optics, the Oppo A77 5G houses an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. At the back, there's a dual-camera setup consisting of a 48MP primary shooter and a 2MP sensor to measure depth.

The Oppo A77 5G arrives in a sole 6GB + 128GB storage variant that costs THB 9,999. The device will go on sale from June 10 in Midnight Black and Ocean Blue color options. You can purchase the phone via Shopee, JD, and Lazada. However, there is no official words regarding the availability in other regions.
