While Android 12 was considered the major overhaul over the years, Android 13 will be the next major update by Google. The version is still under testing until its stable release which is expected to be around in Q4 2022. Before that, let's take a look at the eligible Oppo smartphones that will get the upcoming Android 13 OS.

Poco F4 5G Indian variant appears on Geekbench, confirms Snapdragon 870 SoC

Poco is preparing to unveil the Poco F4 in India and other markets soon. Although the company has not revealed any launch date for the handset, it is expected to debut in India later this month. Also, the company did confirm the chipset it will use underneath. In addition, the smartphone has made an appearance on the Geekbench certification website. Here is what we know about the upcoming Poco F4 5G.

On the Geekbench benchmarking website, the Poco F4 5G bears the model number 22021211RI. The handset will be a premium offering by the Chinese tech giant. It has managed to score 978 points in Geekbench’s single-core round and 3254 in the multi-core tests. Further, the database reveals the processor, operating system, and a few other details as well.


Under the hood, the upcoming 5G-powered smartphone by Poco will power the Snapdragon 870 SoC. FYI, this was already confirmed by the company before. The chipset will be integrated with Adreno 650 GPU. In addition, the certification mentions a 12GB RAM model in India, which is likely to be coupled with 256GB of internal storage. Also, we can expect Poco to offer more storage options as well.



On the software front, the Geekbench database informs that the Poco F4 5G will offer Android 12 out of the box along with a layer of MIUI 13 on top. As per rumors, the device will be backed up by a 4,500 mAh battery that will support 67W of fast charging.


In other news, it is also speculated to arrive as a rebadged Redmi K40S. However, the company did not confirm the statement yet. The rest of the details are still undercover but they could surface online soon.

It’s been a couple of months since the OnePlus 10R was unveiled in the Indian market. In the latest news, the company is spinning out the second software update for the smartphone with OxygenOS 12 A.04 in the country.

The latest software update for the OnePlus 10R is rolling out in India, and it will soon expand to more markets as well. The package is bundled with the firmware version CPH2423_11.A.04​ and CPH2411_11.A.04.

Regarding modifications, the build brings some camera improvements and fixes the issue where the face was blurred in some scenarios. Moreover, it optimizes the network stability and fingerprint recognition algorithm. In addition, the update brings some other issues as well, including abnormal charging, unstable Wi-Fi, and abnormal sound recording. On top, the April 2022 security patch enhances the system's privacy.

A well-known tipster Jon Prosser has pitched the launch date of the upcoming Galaxy foldable and watch series. The gadgets are said to be revealed on August 26, while the pre-orders will begin on August 10.

In addition to this, the Prosser revealed the color variants of Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, and the Watch 5 series. According to the leaks, the OnePlus 10T 5G is likely to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. The panel can offer a 120Hz refresh rate and it could also carry support for LTPO 2.0 technology. Moto G62 5G announced with Snapdragon 480+, 50 MP camera setup, and more

Motorola has introduced another mid-range G-series smartphone. Recently, the Moto G82 5G became official and now the company has unveiled the Moto G62 5G. Here is a detailed look at the latest handset by the Lenovo-owned company.

The Moto G62 is built around a 6.5-inch Full HD+ LCD with a punch-hole cutout at the top center. The panel offers a 120Hz refresh rate and a 2400 x 1080 pixel resolution. A 5,000 mAh battery keeps the screen brightened up with a 20W TurboPower fast charging support.

Under the helm, the 5G-powered smartphone equips Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ processor. The chipset is integrated with Adreno 619 GPU, 4GB RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. On the software front, the smartphone can come pre-installed with Android 12 OS.

Concerning the shooting department, the Moto G62 carries a triple-camera setup led by a 50 MP primary sensor. Accompanying this is an 8MP ultrawide lens which also doubles as a depth sensor and a Macro Vision sensor. On the other side, there's a 16 MP camera unit to serve selfies and video calls.

Nothing Phone (1) 5G appears on NBTC website ahead of global launch

Nothing has decided to unveil its first smartphone: Nothing Phone (1) on July 12. With the launch of Nothing Ear (1), the company has become one of the most exciting brands of the year. Now, ahead of the official launch, the first handset by the brand has made an appearance on the NBTC certification website.

To recall, the same model was also spotted on the Indian BIS website as well. In addition, the design of the upcoming handset was accidentally leaked via Flipkart. All these leaks give us a pretty good idea about the Phone (1).



Talking about the design, the pictures leaked render a transparent design of the smartphone’s rear panel housing a vertical camera layout. It is said to feature a bezel-less design on the front with a punch-hole cutout in the center.

Moreover, Nothing has confirmed that its first smartphone will power a Qualcomm  Snapdragon processor. The rumors suggest that it will be the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. On the software front, the phone will boost the Android operating system. The OS will be tossed with Nothing OS, its customized skin on top of Android. Interestingly, the brand claims that its OS will be one of the purest skins of Android.

As far as prices are concerned, the Nothing Phone (1) is speculated to cost around €500. Like Nothing Ear (1), the phone will be sold exclusively on Flipkart in India.
