Xiaomi Smart Band 7 and Band 7 NFC spotted on Bluetooth SIG, launch imminent!

Mi Band has been one of the best smart bands in the industry. A few weeks back, Xiaomi launched its new smart band dubbed Mi Band 7 in China. A new band from the company with the name Xiaomi Smart Band 7 and Band 7 NFC has been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG listing. It is likely to be a new variant of the existing Mi Band 7. The standard Xiaomi Smart Band 7 will come with the model number M2129B1.

At the same time, the NFC variant will have the model number M2130B1. Both these smart bands will support the latest Bluetooth 5.2. Apart from this, no other significant details have been revealed through the listing. The launch seems imminent since the device is already in Bluetooth SIG listing. It might bring some additional features over the regular Mi Band 7 series. We don't know if it will be the global naming of the Mi Band 7 series. There are chances for either of these things to happen.

The Mi Band 7 and Band 7 NFC gets a bigger 1.62 inches AOD AMOLED display and has a PPI of 326. Xiaomi has added many new features, including watch faces, icons, and effects. The Mi Band 7 also gets continuous blood oxygen monitoring and low SpO2 alerts. In China, the bands start at 249 Yuan (USD 37) for the standard edition of Mi Band 7. At the same time, the NFC version is priced at 299 yuan (USD 44).

Xiaomi is planning to launch the device globally in the upcoming weeks. Rumors suggest that the standard edition's European pricing will be around 50 to 60 Euros. OnePlus Nord gets OxygenOS 11.1.11.11 update with April 2022 security patch!

It has been a couple of years since OnePlus launched the OnePlus Nord in the Indian Market. OnePlus Nord was the first smartphone from the brand to feature a mid-range chipset. Back in May, OnePlus had rolled out the OxygenOS 12 update for the Indian users of the OnePlus Nord. Recently, OnePlus has pushed a huge bug fix update for the Indian units. We had reported that the OxygenOS 12 update would be live in other regions soon. OnePlus has started a new update for the OnePlus Nord in the European region. It is a minor bug fix update before OnePlus rolls out the OxygenOS 12 update in the European region. The brand announced the update through a community post.

The latest update for the OnePlus Nord is bundled with the firmware version 11.1.11.11.AC01BA​. The build is currently rolling out in the European market, while more regions will also get a soon in the coming weeks.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G was announced earlier this year with the model number SM-G990B. In the latest development, the Korean tech giant is preparing a 4G variant of the smartphone. Recently, a new variant of the device with the SM-G990B2 model number went live on Samsung's Netherlands support page. The listing reveals some key specs of the Galaxy S21 FE 4G and indicates an imminent launch. Let's take a look at the known facts about the handset.

The Galaxy S21 FE 4G will sit over the Galaxy S20 FE 4G that was launched back in October 2020. According to the website, the upcoming phone will feature a 6.4-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. In addition, a 4,500 mAh battery will keep the device's system in the works.

Underneath, the Galaxy S21 FE 4G will draw power from an octa-core processor based on Snapdragon 720G SoC. The chipset will be paired with up to 8 GB RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. On the software front, the device will come pre-installed with the latest Android 12 OS.

The Oneplus 7 and Oneplus 7T series are scheduled to get the Android 12 beta in June. Meanwhile, the company is delivering a new software update based on OxygenOS 11. The entire OnePlus 7 series— OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro, including the T-Mobile variants— OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro is picking up a new update with OxygenOS 11.0.8.1.

Starting with the standard variants, for the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro, the update is rolling out in Europe and North America. For the European models, the build carries version number 11.0.8.1.GM57BA for the OnePlus 7 and 11.0.8.1.GM21BA for the OnePlus 7 Pro. While the NA units will be bumped via version 11.0.8.1.GM57AA and 11.0.8.1.GM21AA​ respectively.
Moving to the T-Mobile versions, the package is making its way to India, Europe, and North America. For the OnePlus 7T, the update arrives via the firmware version 11.0.8.1.HD65AA in India and NA. while the European models are upgrading with 11.0.8.1.HD65BA.



On the other hand, the OnePlus 7T Pro is grabbing version 11.0.8.1.HD01AA for Indian models and NA variants. Whereas the number varies to 11.0.8.1.HD01BA for the European units.

On the Geekbench database, the upcoming Nokia G11 Plus has managed to score 309 points in the single-core round. Whereas in the multi-core round, the phone scored 1302 points. However, the listing does not reveal the model number of the device. It does divulge the key details, including processor, storage configuration, and operating system.

Under the hood, the Nokia G11 Plus will draw power from a processor with a peak frequency of 1.61GHz and is integrated with Mali G57 GPU. Considering this, the device will equip the Unisoc T606 SoC chipset. FYI, this is the same processor that powers the vanilla Nokia G11.



In addition to this, the Geekbench database confirms a 4GB RAM model of the Nokia G11 Plus. Although we do expect the company to make the device available in more storage variants as well.
