Xiaomi is kicking off the Android 12– based MIUI 13 skin iteration for its eligible devices since January. The latest smartphone to get the refreshed version of mobile software is Redmi Note 10S. This will be the first major update for the device, as it was launched back in March 2021 with Android 11 out of the box.

The latest software update for the Redmi Note 10S can be identified by the firmware version V13.0.2.0.SKLINXM. As of now, the package is rolling out in the Indian market. It will eventually expand to more regions in the next few days.
As for changes, the changelog claims to improve the system security by integrating the June 2022 security patch. Further, it mentions that the apps can now open as floating windows directly from the sidebar. In addition to this, the build optimizes the mind map nodes and enhances accessibility support for phone, clock, and weather.
