OnePlus 9R gets OxygenOS 12 C.33 update with July 2022 security patch

While the next version of the mobile operating system is underway, OnePlus is providing the best Android 12 experience for its smartphones. On that note, the OnePlus 9R is picking up a new update dubbed OxygenOS 12 C.33. As usual, the build intends to polish and refine the user experience.

The announcement was made through the official OnePlus community forum. According to the post, the latest software update for the OnePlus 9R is bundled with version number C.33. As of now, the build is rolling out in India, while more markets will get a similar version in the coming weeks. Precisely, the update is designated with the firmware version LE2101_11.C.33.
As for changes, the package improves system stability and mobile network connection. In addition, it increases the system security by integrating the July 2022 security patch. Moreover, it resolves the slow response of the fingerprint unlock issue. According to the official OnePlus Community post, the update for the OnePlus 8 duo and OnePlus 8T is rolling out in India, Europe, and North America. Depending upon the region, the package carries different firmware versions for the respective model. Despite different build numbers, the changelog for the entire OnePlus 8 series remains identical.

On that note, the package increases the system security by integrating the July 2022 security patch. In addition, it improves system stability and mobile network connection. The statement was made official via the Realme community forum along with some essential details. The Realme GT 2 Pro owners can now get the taste of Android 13 before its official release. However, there are only limited seats available as always. Also, the applications will be accepted in batches for the users who registered early.   3. Click upgrade and early adopters and tap on Trial Version

  4. Scroll down and click on Apply now

Before applying, make sure your device is at least 60% charged and is running on the required RMX3301_11.A.16/ RMX3301_11.A.17 version.

Once your application passes the review, the update will be available within 3 working days. Also, keep your device’s battery above 60% and at least 10GB of storage space free while flashing the beta update.

Moreover, keep in mind that the build is meant to be tested. Thus, it will be loaded with minor and major bugs which can restrain the user experience. Therefore, we do not recommend flashing the beta package on your primary device. One such issue already mentioned by the company is DC dimming function is not supported.

One UI 5.0 Beta based on Android 13 is live for Galaxy S22

The Android 13 is stable release is "just a few weeks away." In the meantime, Samsung has started testing its skin iteration based on the upcoming mobile operating system. The One UI 5.0 Beta update is rolling out for the Galaxy S22. As of now, it is limited to the users in Germany, while more regions will add on to the list in the coming days. Needless to say, One UI 5.0 beta is on top of the Android 13 update. The users in Germany can flash the build with firmware version S90xBXXU2ZHV4. The version will bring along a lot of UI changes and enriched features. However, the company is yet to detail everything it ships with. We expect the brand to make it all official at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event.




Although luckily, some leaks have already revealed how Samsung has boxed up One UI 5.0. To begin with, the notifications icon and design are upgraded with a new style along with tweaks in shade and quick settings. In addition, there are new multi-tasking gestures to make the experience more convenient. There's a new feature known as OCR (Optical Character Recognition). It allows the user to copy text from an image and keyboard.


Moreover, the app permission pop-up menu will render the same design as stock Android 13. Also, the animation speed is improved, making the transitions more smooth. On top, it will take care of your privacy by keeping all of your accounts, passwords, security, and privacy features on one screen.


As mentioned, these are just the ones that managed to sneak out of the box. There will be more features, including UI changes, improvements in stock apps, and other modifications.




To download the One UI 5.0 beta on your device, visit the Samsung Members app. Therein, click on Notification Page > Registration for One UI Beta Program > Accept terms and conditions. Talking about the design, the leaked images show that the Galaxy A23 5G will come with a quad-camera setup on the back. On the front, it can be seen featuring a waterdrop notch display. Reportedly, it measures 165.4 x 76.9 x 8.4mm in dimensions and weighs around 200 grams.

As for specifications, the rumors claim that the device will sport a 6.6-inch Infinity-V display notch with a Full HD+ resolution. Under the hood, it is likely to draw power from Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC. The chipset can be paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB of default storage. Also, it will have a dedicated microSD card slot onboard to increase the memory externally.

In terms of optics, the Galaxy A23 5G is tipped to offer a 50MP quad rear camera. Accompanying this could be a 5MP ultra-wide lens and a couple of 2MP units for depth and macro shots, respectively. On the other side, an 8MP snapper can serve selfies and video calls.

Motorola Edge 30 Neo arrives on Geekbench, key specs revealed

The Lenovo-owned company is preparing to extend the Moto Edge 30 lineup. The series already includes Edge 30 and Edge 30 Pro, while the Edge 30 Lite and Edge 30 Ultra are in the works. Well, there's one more device gearing up to join the list: Motorola Edge 30 Neo. Ahead of any official announcement, the phone has made an appearance on the Geekbench benchmarking website. The listing shed light on some key specs that follow below.

On the Geekbench portal, the Motorola Edge 30 Neo has managed to score 664 in the single-core test and 1848 in the multi-core test. Further, the database discloses some key details, including processor, GPU, operating system, and storage configuration.

Under the hood, the upcoming Moto phone will equip an octa-core processor with a “Miami” motherboard. The chipset will clock six cores at 1.8GHz and two cores at 2.21GHz. Considering these details, it is likely to be a Snapdragon 695 or Snapdragon 750G SoC. The processor will be integrated with Adreno 619 GPU to handle graphics.



On the software front, the Moto Edge 30 Neo will boost the latest stable Android 12 OS out of the box. In addition, the website confirms an 8GB RAM model of the device. Although we can expect the company to unveil more RAM and storage options.

Besides the above-mentioned details, the website does not divulge any other detail of the device. However, the leaks claim that the Edge 30 Neo is a rebranded version of the Edge 30 Lite.
