Redmi Note 11SE with Helio G95 SoC launched in India for ₹13,499

Redmi Note 11SE is finally official in India as the sixty devices in the Note 11 lineup. The other five include Redmi Note 11, Note 11 Pro, Note 11 Pro+, Note 11S, and Note 11T. The latest Note 11 SE is a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 10S that was launched last year. However, there is a minor change. Let's take a look at the specification, features, prices, and other details of the new handset.

Redmi Note 11SE features a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display with a center-aligned punch-hole cutout. The panel offers a Full HD+ resolution, a standard 60Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1100 nits. Also, it is IP53 rated for dust and splash resistance.

Under the hood, it draws power from an octa-core processor based on the MediaTek Helio G95 SoC. The chipset is paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. On the software front, unlike the rest of the Note 11 series, the latest device runs on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11.

For optics, the Redmi Note 11SE caries a quad camera setup at the back led by a 64MP primary unit. Accompanying this is an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro snapper, and a 2MP sensor to measure depth. On the other side, there's a single 13MP shooter to take selfies and serve video calls.

In addition, a 5000 mAh battery backs up the phone with 33W fast charging support. However, the device does not ship with a charger in the box, making it the first device in the series to do so. The other notable features include a USB Type-C port, a dual stereo speaker setup, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Redmi Note 11SE costs ₹13,499 for its sole 6GB/ 64GB variant storage variant. The device retails in Black, Purple, White, and Blue color options. It will go on sale via Flipkart and the official Mi website from August 31. Lastly, you can get a charger for ₹199 with the phone.

Poco M5 4G officially teased, to come with Mediatek G99 SoC

Poco is gearing up to unveil a new smartphone in the Indian market: the Poco M5 4G. The company has officially started to tease the device. As you might have guessed, it will be an affordable offering that is likely to go official next month. The company announced via Twitter that the next offering will be an M-series device. Under the hood, the upcoming phone will draw power from Mediatek Helio G99. The post goes like “M bringing sexy back.” To recall, the Poco M5 4G has already bagged the FCC and NBTC certifications.

As mentioned, a Mediatek Helio G99 will power the Poco M5 4G. The company may retail the phone in a 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant. For software, it is likely to boost Android 12 out of the box.

On the GCF website, the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro 5G bears the model number SM-T636B. This is likely to be the Wi-Fi-only variant, while the other SM-T636N model can support both LTE and 5G. Samsung Galaxy A04 is built around a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD Infinity-V display with a water drop notch cutout at the top center. The panel offers a standard 60Hz refresh rate support. A 5000mAh battery unit keeps the screen lightened up over a USB Type-C port. The power cell makes the device weigh 192 grams and measure 164.4 x 76.3 x 9.1mm.

[Update: August 2022 Security Patch] Redmi Note 10T Updates Tracker

  • [August 24, 2022]: Redmi Note 10 is picking up a new software update that bumps the firmware version to V13.0.3.0.SKSINXM. As of now, the update is rolling out in India, while more markets will also get it in the coming days. The version carries the August 2022 security patch to increase system security. Google Pixel 5 issues on Android 13 [Bugs Tracker]

To recall, the Google Pixel 4 and onward devices are eligible for the Android 13 update. This includes Pixel 4, Pixel 4 XL, Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a (5G), Pixel 5, Pixel 5a, Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, and Pixel 6a. All of these smartphones are littered with over 100 bugs after updating. Therefore, we do not recommend you to flash the update on your primary phone. In case, you already hit the package, wait for future developments as Google is working to get things right.

Issues on Pixel 5 after Android 13 update


Looking for some assistance, the Pixel 5 users have taken their issues to the Pixel community. All these bugs are under Google's eyes and the company is actively working to resolve them. Here are some prominently reported issues.

  • Charging: After upgrading to Android 13, the Pixel 5 is unable to get charged via the Pixel Stand. For a few users, it even showed a “not charging” message. Also, some apps are unable to open.

  • Bluetooth pairing: The paired Bluetooth devices are having difficulty connecting. Even when the connection is successful, the devices are continuously disappearing. This includes all smart devices, including  Garmin Fenix 7, Logitech keyboard k780, and k375, Fitbit, Tesla Mobile Key, Pixel Buds, and more. In addition, a few devices do not show any Bluetooth icon on the top right.

  • Unusual vibration: Some of the phones are lucky enough to come back to light. However, they are facing unusual vibration issues. The user complained that the Pixel 5 keeps on vibrating even when not in use or without any notification. At times, it sometimes vibrates multiple times a minute.

  • DEAD: Reportedly, some Pixel 5 devices are dead after updating to Android 13. The device froze up and went black. It is unable to restart even when it is fully charged. In fact, the users tried charging the phone again, but it didn't work. Some usual hacks like holding the power button and volume button, re-inserting SIM, and so on also failed to bring the phone back.

  • Camera not working: After upgrading to Android 13, the Pixel 5 users reported that their front camera stopped working first. Afterwards, the rear unit also faded away. Unfortunately, restarting the device couldn't help them.

  • Battery draining: The battery health has come down with Android 13 OS. The users complained that the battery is draining quickly and the screen time is reduced. Moreover, hourly battery usage is not being displayed on some devices.

The Xiaomi 12T Pro will sit over the Xiaomi 11T Pro. Needless to say, the phone will arrive with some major improvements. The Google Play Console listing reveals some key details, including processor, operating system, display features, and more.

Under the hood, the Mi 12T Pro will run the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC under the hood. The chipset will be paired with an Adreno 730 GPU for graphics. Reportedly, the Xiaomi 12T Pro is claimed to be a rebadged Redmi K50 Extreme Edition/ K50 Ultra. Although, there are some tweaks expected in the optics department. In that case, the upcoming phone can feature a  6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, the handset will offer an in-display fingerprint scanner and Dolby Vision support.
