At the front, the Vivo Y16 features a flat frame design with a 6.51-inch IPS LCD screen. The panel offers an HD+ resolution of 1,600 x 720 pixels and a center-aligned water drop notch cutout. Out of the box, the buyers will get the Android 12 along with a layer of Funtouch OS 12 on top.
For shooting purposes, the front notch houses a 5MP camera for selfies and video calls. On the other side, there's a rectangular camera module with two large lenses alongside an LED flash. The setup consists of a 13MP primary unit and a 2MP sensor to measure depth.
Under the helm, the Vivo Y16 draws power from an octa-core processor based on MediaTek Helio P35 SoC. The chipset is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Also, the memory can be extended up to 1TB via a dedicated microSD card slot. Moreover, you can also expand the 1GB RAM via the virtual RAM feature.
In addition, the company ships the 4G-powered device with a 5000 mAh power cell that keeps the system working. It supports 10W of charging over a USB Type-C port. The connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5, GPS, and GLONASS.
