Samsung Launches its Galaxy J3 (2016) with NFC in India

Samsung launches its another entry level Android smartphone Galaxy J3 (2016) in India. It is exclusively available to buy at Snapdeal an online store in India. Galaxy J3 (2016) is priced at 8,990 INR ($135). Company also launched it Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 (2016) variants in China.




Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) is powered with a 1.5GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1.5GB of RAM. It packs 8GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB). The Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Galaxy J3 features the Samsung TouchWiz UI on top. It features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) Super Amoled display. Moreover, highlight of this device is NFC. When we comes to connectivity Phone has 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and Micro-USB.

Galaxy J3 (2016) comes with S Bike feature which once enabled automatically replies to calls with pre-recorded messages in 14 languages. Riders can also mark a few contacts as important, so that they can be notified even while riding.

LG Starts Rolling out Android Marshmallow to LG G3 in Canada

After LG has rolled out Android Marshmallow on LG G3 in US, now Company is rolling out Marshmallow update to LG G3 in canada. The update weighs around 750 MB.

The update includes the Google Now on Tap and Doze and should be available to all carriers, including Rogers, Fido, MTS, Bel, Virgin. SaskTel, Telus, Koodo and Videotron. Although some of the users also saying that they are having issues in Downloading and some people those that have installed it are saying it’s running just fine. We must say that this will be the last big Android update to LG G3.

Samsung is on launching spree, everyday they are launching new devices. Yesterday, Korean giant launched Samsung Galaxy Amp Prime and its small cousin of 4.5 inch via Cricket Wireless in the U.S. Today, they have come up with Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro with insanely huge 5000 mAh battery.

OxygenOS 3.0 Marshmallow (Beta) is here for OnePlus 2

OnePlus is here with some new software upgrade big Software Upgrade of OxygenOS 3.0 Marshmallow (Beta). OnePlus has provided the update to the OnePlus 2 only. Other, couple of devices are not confirmed as of now.

OnePlus has launched the OnePlus 2 last year with Lollipop on board. OnePlus 2 is the flagship device of company and they are going to give it the taste of Marshmallow as all other OEMs have initiated the Marshmallow update on their flagships. So, following other’s map, OnePlus has launched OxygenOS 3.0 which is Marshmallow based. But currently, it is in beta Stage, means, there are few bugs and glitches are present in OxyGenOS 3.0 Marshmallow build.

Well, if you are running on Stock ROM and having the firmware version of v2.2.0 or higher. There are some bugs and issues that are present in this version:


  • Your fingerprints will not be preserved after you flash the new build, so you will need to re-register your fingerprints if you have fingerprint authentication set up

  • Maxxaudio tuner and presets will be removed

  • Rolling back to previous OxygenOS versions will not work without wiping data

  • Some soak testers have experienced wifi speed issues which we are investigating

  • Some of your old apps won’t work without an upgrade to M compatible versions

  • Shelf frequent apps board size might shrink if you are dirty flashing. Remove and re-add the board and it will fix itself

  • Language localization is still being improved

Samsung Galaxy Amp Prime, a new device from Korean giant has been launched in the United States via Cricket Wireless. The 6 incher device with 4G LTE connectivity is going to be available for $149.99.

Google Calculator Lands as Standalone App at Play Store

After several updates to native Google Apps like Google Photos, YouTube Music and others. Google has rolled out Calculator standalone app at the Play Store.

Google has rolled out the standalone app because as per the development team of Calculator, they have to wait for Android Firmware upgrade to rollout any advancement. So, in order to tackle with that problem, Google has rolled out a single Calculator app in the lay Store.


There are no changes on the feature basis but Google has made it compatible with the Smartwatches. From now on, users can do simple calculations on the Android Wear Operating System oriented smartwatches.


So, if you don;t have Google Calculator, then just install it from the Play Store.


Additionally, Google has reduced the Android OS size by toning down these small features of OS into independent apps. Earlier, various Google apps have been converted in to the standalone apps.

According to the info Mi Note 2 will have curved display, the source says that it will be 5.7 inches in diagonal like the previous model. Resolution will be QHD, and a 3D touch pressure sensitive capability is being considered. Moreover, Device is powered with either a Snapdragon 820 or an 823 chipset and RAM will be 4GB or it can be 6GB, and storage options will include 32/64/128GB, with a possible 256GB variant too. The camera will feature the 16MP Sony IMX298 sensor, complete with OIS. Powering things will be a 3,600mAh battery, with some form of fast charging allowing the charger to supply up to 18watts.
