Realme X50 Pro receiving Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0 stable update

The BBK-owned Chinese smartphone brand – Realme has started seeding out the Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0 Stable version Realme X50 Pro smartphones. The update is hitting all the devices on the RMX2076PU_11.C.16 Firmware version and is currently limited only to Indian users.

What’s new?


As stated by the changelog, the update comes with Personalizations, High Efficiency, new add-ons & optimizations for the system, filters for the launcher, new add-ons & optimizations to Security and Privacy, Immersive mode in Games, new add-ons for the camera, Realme Lab, and Accessibility.


The new add-ons include Tone tunes, weather animations, filters for Drawer mode, System cloner, Low battery message, Immersive mode which reduces disturbances while gaming so you can stay focused, Cloud Sync for Private Safe feature which allows you to sync the photos in your Private Safe to the cloud, Sleep Capsule, Sound amplifier, etc.


As this is the initial rollout of this update, it usually takes a couple of days to reach all the units. Nevertheless, everyone will be experiencing the update within a week. Meanwhile, you can navigate to Settings>Software updates and check for updates to manually check the update status.

Xiaomi Redmi 9 receiving MIUI 12 update along with November 2020 Security patch

After the successful rollout of the MIUI 12 update for all the other smartphones, Xiaomi started seeding out the MIUI 12 update for the Redmi 9 devices. The update is spinning out on the MIUI V12.0.1.0.QJCMIXM Firmware version, and it’s currently rolling out Globally.

What’s new?


As per the changelog, the update appears with the new Control center, optimizations, November 2020 Security patch update, Watermarks, and Fullscreen mode for Camera. The update might also include bug fixes for known/ reported issues. The performance and stability are expected to be increased by this update. The changelog of this update is as follows.

Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi has launched the 5G variants of both Redmi Note 9 and Note 9 Pro 5G in its home country China. Talking about the differences, these 5G devices’ specifications are a bit different from the previously launched 4G smartphones.

Talking about the price, Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G starts from CNY 1599 (Approx. Rs. 17,961). Whereas the basic model of Note 9 5G starts from CNY 1299 (Approx. Rs. 14,592). Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 9 4G Edition’s basic model is priced at CNY 999 (Approx. Rs. 11,222).

The Korean Giant -Samsung is struggling very hard to make its network more robust and Active by launching smartphones regularly. In a launch event today, Samsung has announced two new smartphones under the Galaxy-A series, which are named as Galaxy A02s and A12. The Galaxy A02s will be the successor or next generation of Galaxy A01, which was launched previously in December 2019. Simultaneously, Galaxy A12 will follow up with the Galaxy A11, which was introduced back in March 2019.

Poco M3 launched with Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC and Triple rear cameras

The Xiaomi owned Poco has today launched a new smartphone in it’s ‘M’ series which is named as Poco M3. Talking about the core features of the smartphone, it appears with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC, waterdrop-style display notch, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Mi 10 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro starts receiving the Android 11 Stable update

After the successful rollout of the updates to many smartphones, Xiaomi has now started seeding out the Android 11 Stable update to both the Mi 10 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro smartphones. The update is spinning out on the V12.2.1.0.RJACNXM Firmware version for the Mi 10 Pro and the V12.2.1.0.RJKCNXM Firmware version for the Redmi K30 Pro. As of now, the update is currently limited only to China and is expected to release shortly in all the other countries too.



What’s new?


Talking about the changelog, the update brings the new Android 11 goodness, features, changes and much more. Some of the major features include Conversation notification, Notification history, Chat bubbles, Screen recorder, Media controls, Dark theme scheduling and many more. However, as the Mi 10 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro devices will be running on MIUI skin, you will not be able to experience all the features of Android 11.
