It has been about a year (actually, it will be a year tomorrow, April 29), since the Droid Incredible impressed us with what used to be amazing specs at the time. Though our beloved Droid Incredible is still good enough to satisfy the average user, this does not defeat the fact that it is a year-old phone, and that is a lot of time in Android years. We have been hearing about the HTC Droid Incredible 2 for some months now, and it finally received its official price and release date last Tuesday (Along with the Casio G’zOne Commando).
The device was confirmed to be released today, and now the HTC Droid Incredible 2 is over at Verizon’s site begging you to purchase it. The highly anticipated Droid Incredible successor can now be yours for $199.99 after a two-year contract, or the “incredible” price of just $439.99 off-contract.
HTC Droid Incredible 2 Specs:
- Android 2.2 Froyo with HTC Sense 2.0
- 4-inch Super LCD Display
- 1GHz second generation Qualcomm Snapdragon processor
- 768 MB of RAM
- 8 MP rear-facing camera / 1.3 MP front-facing camera
- 1450 mAh battery
As Nick Gray mentioned on his first impressions of the Droid Incredible 2, this device may not be as stunning as the Thunderbolt, but it is a great device for everyday use, and the price is also $50 lower.
