Xiaomi Mi 5 Confirmed for February 24 by Hugo Barra

Xiaomi’s Senior VP Hugo Barra went to Twitter to confirm all the rumors of upcoming Mi 5. Xiaomi is coming with first product launch of 2016 on February 24th.

Already, there were reports about the February 24th launch of the Mi 5 device with its four variants. Hugo Barra has ended nearly a year-long speculation over this smartphone. Xiaomi Mi 5 remains one of the most awaited, and leaked smartphone from the company.

Additionally, leaks and rumors suggested a 5.2-inch QHD display, metal body, Snapdragon 820 SoC, variants offering 3GB RAM and 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage.

In december we got press renders leaked on Weibo which showed its four color variants – gold, black, white and pink colour options with 2.5G curved glass display and a 3D glass panel on the back.
