Samsung Rolling Out Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow for Galaxy S6 edge and S6 edge+ in Korea

Samsung Starts rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for its flagship devices Galaxy S6 edge and Galaxy S6 edge+in Korea. Samsung has put a post on its Local Blog with some details of new features that are included in Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow for both of these handsets.





If you’re Samsung Galaxy S6 edge user you will get more functionality to the edge screen. First off, you’ll be able to increase the panel width of the edge screen to 550 pixels, allowing you to view more content. You can also customize up to nine quick access panels, with the People edge panel now displaying names below a contact’s photo. Although other than this update contains Doze, Now on Tap, simplified app permissions, and much more.


Moreover, Samsung does not confirm that when they will give Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to other regions of the Globe. But it seems that all users of Galaxy s6 edge and S6 edge+ will soon get the update. Anyhow Samsung is going to launch its new flagship device Samsung Galaxy S7 shortly on 21st February at MWC 2016.
