Skype finally starts rolling out Group Video Calling feature to its Android and iOS Apps now. Right now the feature will roll out in Western Europe and North America and the rest of the markets will get this by the end of march.

While using Skype Group Video Calling feature there’s a grid view (shown on the right, in the photo below) that allows you to view all of the current participants as well as a “focus view” (left), which will adapt so that the current speaker is always in focus. Additionally, you can choose to pin a specific speaker so they are always in view.

Coming in more detail of this feature you can video call up to 25 people at a time. In addition, users can switch between a grid view or a switch to focus view where Skype automatically focuses on the active speaker, or lets callers choose which participant to ‘Pin’ to the stage. Anyhow Skype Group Video Calling feature is rolling out for both Android and iOS user. So enjoy calling!
