[Update: August 2020 Security Patch] Oppo K1 Updates Tracker

After the rollout of the new updates for Oppo R15 Pro, R17, Reno 4 Pro, and more smartphones, the BBK-owned Oppo has started seeding out the August 2020 Security Patch update for the two-year-old Oppo K1 smartphones.

[September 20, 2020]: Oppo K1 has finally started receiving the Security Patch update for the month of August 2020. The update is hitting all the devices on the CPH1893EX_11_C.38 build number, and besides the latest Security patch, the company hasn’t added any new features. So, the Security update generally includes the reported/ known bug fixes, optimizations, and improvements.

As the company is spinning out the update in phases, it might take a few days to reach your smartphone. In the meantime, you can head to Settings>Software updates>Check for updates to check the update manually. Also, make sure to switch over to a WiFi network before downloading the update and maintain atleast 60% of charging before installing it.
